Far better option than other private universities

I myslef have a positive remark for the college it's a good college nice campus well equipped labs a very good infrastructure and student crowd and very good placement opportunities. There is just one bad remark and it's that for hostelers there are a few restrictions which will make you think if you are still in school like for everytime you want to go out from the college you have to get your gatepass approved from the warden and also no hotel or food from outside is allowed just the packed food is allowed.

Well computer science is good if you like it. I myself enjoyed it. Obviously you have to study to gain something. There are different structures for different batches like there are special batched called UCA( University Coding academy) for those who are good at coding or development the selection process is a basic apptitude test for freshers and for 2nd and 3rd year it's coding test and technical Interview. depends on what time you want to join that batch. So in each semester they teach you a particular programming language like for me it was c, c++, java, advanced programming concepts, data structures and web development etc. And other important subjects too were there based on the course plan like Database, computer networks, operting systems, Linus etc.

Well when it comes to placements chitkara is one of the best in the market that's why I said far better option that other private colleges. I myself is placed in 6th semester with a stipend of 24 thousand and if I will be offered a job it will be of CTC 9 lakh. So there are ample opportunities there at the time I am writing this. Many of my friends are placed in 6th semester only with very good packages and 3 of them are selected in gojek with CTC of 30 lakh. Plus Amazon also visits our campus it took 1 girl with a package of 26 lakh last year. So if you are skilled and knowledgeable you will do wonders here. So it basically does provide internship but not it between after 2. 5 years or in 6th semester companies come for placements and they select you and till your graduation you are at internship in the same company and the'll offer you the job as per your performance.

There are many events that are held in the college there are so many that I can't even name them all there are various clubs like Bits and Bytes, IEEE, EPIC youth club and many more. There are both small and big events like rangrezz, civil war and many more so many that I can't name that many plus hackathons and other VIP visits are also there for educational purposes.

As far as private universities are concerned it's affordable it's like 7 lakh for a day scholar or a person living nearby and around 10 lakh for a person living in hostels. I mean they charge about 90 thousand per semester for now in our time it was 80 thousand per semester and about 50k-52k for hostels and 65k for AC equipped hostels.

Yes there are scholarships for Jammu and Kashmir students and for SC and ST students. If two children from same families are there they give compensation of 10 thousand for second one. the rest of the details regarding scholarship could be found at the University website.

There are labs and sports facilities there even they have a separate building called Spotorium for GYM and other games like table tennis, badminton, pool, football, cricket, lawn tennis, volleyball grounds are also there, gym is well equipped but comes with an additional cost of 6k for 6 months. Rest is free for all. There is a good male and female crowd there many parties like fresher parties dj nights are also there. There are many societies for different purposes and also there is no ragging completely clean even if some do perform ragging he will be suspended and with a charge of 50 thousand.

I was a hosteler I used to pay 34, 200 for hostel and additional 14 thousand for mess food. You can choose to take mess or not now the charge has increased you have to pay additional 3 thousand per semester for laundry and rooms are a bit expensive too. In combine they will cost 50-52 thousand for now and if you choose AC rooms you will pay 65 thousand in total approximately. Hostels are good and affordable in my view. They are clean regularly maintained by care taker. They have hot water supply two times a day in morning and in evening for about 2 hrs each in winters. Beds come with mattress but no pillow. No bucket it provided room comes with a dustbin too. For each student you have a bed a study table and almirah for personal use. You can choose between AC or cooler. All in one it's good and one will be comfortable there.

Well alumni and senior students are helpful if you know them. They helped my friend for off campus jobs and seniors also helps in organising events and fests. If you have any doubt regarding the subject and other plans they will definitely help you out.

I cleared Aieee entrance examination then through merit list i got the seat to take admission in that college, so any one who wants to take admission in that college then they have to follow this process.

Well we have every kind of teachers from Bachelors to masters to PhD ones all are there and I must say that I was very luck cause I got good teacher's in every subject but I must admit honestly that yes there are some teacher who will bore you or who don't have enough knowledge just book knowledge. but the faculty will be supportive since it's a private college.
