I got shortlisted in Presidency University and Viswa Bharati University with 13 and 14 ranks respectively. I was already admitted in Jadavpur University back then so i didn't proceed with Admission in any of them. To get into JU, you'll need to fill up a online form and you'll get the admit card. Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent. The admission took place on the basis of a merit-based entrance examination. The seats are limited; therefore, only the top 15 students out of almost 800-1000 who appeared for the exam were selected.
