General college for pursuing graduation

The course curriculum add syllabus of the BA general program that our Institute follows is defined by the Dibrugarh University. It has a mix of compulsory subject like English, Environmental Science and core subject like Modern Indian language, Economics, History etc. Examinations are conducted in a semester wise fashion with 2 end semester examinations being conducted in 1 year.

There is not to say much when it comes to placement and job opportunities as in spite of having a recruitment and placement cell not much companies visit for campus placement. Usually job fairs are organised where a good number of companies come however the packages and profile that is offered is not which one desires. internship is not a mandatory part of our course curriculum and is not required to be done.

The fee that our college charges is quite minimal and for the entire course duration the fee stands around under Rs, 10, 000. It has to be submitted at the start of each academic year and includes various other charges apart from the tuition fee.

Our college offers a good number of scholarship to the students under various categories. Chanda Brahmani scholarship is there for meritorious students which is offered to first year students. Apart from that there are incentives for sports person poor students. in addition to that teachers welfare fund is also there from which scholarship is provided to the student. Along with that educational loan facility is also a available from various commercial banks.

Aur college has good and rich environment when it comes to extra curricular activities. The college has brot special programs for student to get their skills nurtured as a part of extra-curricular activities like the beautician course which is started keeping in mind the demand in the industry. In terms of events celebration various events like cultural events for example the lok Geet , Jyoti sangeet, art festival, drama fest etc are celebrated by the college. On infrastructure fund the college has an outdoor stadium where University and inter University tournaments are organised. There is a gramophone museum as well. Apart from that there is an auditorium with seating capacity of over 1000 students. Overall it is quite good when it comes to infrastructure and environment.

I got admission in this college by applying offline through filling of detailed application form and it's submission. Once the application was accepted I was given the admission on providing the documents for verification and submitting the fee for the first year. Admission are also done through various quotas like that for the students from reserved categories like SC and ST.

Faculty member in our college experience in their respective discipline and have rich experience in excess of 10 years. They are very cooperative in nature and ensure that student gets all the help even after the class if he wants.
