Remarks

A very good college for medical students. I love my college days spending in this campus. During my course time got a lot of help from our teachers and our seniors. Our college principal was also a kind of human being.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum was very hard. We have to study a lot from the very first day of this MBBS course. It was a new course for me and I have to do a lot of hard work to cope up with my course. Later I found it interesting.

Placement Experience

The job opportunity is sure for the students. All the students get good jobs after they complete their graduation degree in the MBBS course. Our college also provides internships for us and we got a stipend of Rs 20,000 per month during internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are not much high. As we all know these fees are reasonable for a Govt medical college. My total course fees were around 4 lakhs. It was quite difficult for me to pay the fees and hence I took educational loans.

Campus Life

All the extracurricular activities are the best and a great time for enjoyment for the students.I will never forget my days here in this college campus spending time in participating in extracurricular events with friends.

Admission

For pursuing the MBBS course, every student must clear UG NEET and can get the medical colleges on a selection basis. Other than that, students must be passed out higher secondary in the Science stream with minimum of 50 % of marks.

Faculty

The professors were great. They all are talented and qualified professionals. We get a lot of help and encouragement from them during our course time. They all love each and every student and never make any differences among the students.

I loved the campus ,its soooooo green and peaceful,
Ig compared to other clgs,teaching here is better
I feel very safe inside the campus ,but its too strict

Dislikes

Over strictness,u will have curfew ,u are not allowed to go out of the campus without permissions,u have to wear uniform,too many restrictions
I feel that the management should have more coordination
Restrictions, u are not allowed to bring phones to the classrooms ,if found u will have 10k fine

Well Our faculty does tell us their personal experiences while explaining topics And Coming to timings for exams Well U will have to write many slip tests and assignments And u will have to pass ur internals to write proff exams

Likes

The hospitals affiliated to medical college have an excellent patient flow, there are 4 hospitals of malla Reddy in the campus, there's a Narayana multi-speciality hospital, mother & child care hospital, malla Reddy hospital and cancer hospital.
There are more than sufficient sports activities available at the college, there is a huge football ground and cricket ground, turf, basketball court badminton court and table tennis
The food in the mess is really great, non-veg food is served daily, there are a lot of food stalls of cafes and other major brands inside the campus like Barista. The lecture halls, practical labs and classrooms are well maintained and spacious.

Dislikes

The vegetarian dishes made in lunch usually suck, but I'd say in comparison to other hostels, the hostel of this college serves edible food, but in comparison to non veg dishes the vegetarian dishes don't taste that good, so veg people face problems
There's a lot of construction going on in the campus as of now, which makes the campus look aesthetically non-pleasing, but it's only for the time being as it recently got converted to deemed University they are upping the standard of the infra.
The hostel room given to some of the boys are relatively bad to the other hostel rooms. We weren't given tables, cupboards and chairs when we arrived at hostel, after a month we were provided all the basic necessities.

Likes

Things I liked in my college is freedom its not too strict students have the freedom to explore and learn, there is no place for partiality.
The staff in college is extraordinary crystal clear concepts will be delivered to students.
The environment of college is quite peaceful to learn and its neither too far or too near to the main city making it accesible to students.

Dislikes

The main problem I have encountered is food theres a routine schedule in mess which bores students and they end up ordering food from outside

The curriculum of the college is extraordinary it prepares us for the real world difficulties. The hospital provides us with lot of expousre we learn to deal with them. The frequency of exams is apt for students enabling us finish and portion and learn thoroughly.

Government medical college suryapet, a honest review

Likes

Faculties are highly qualified and way of teaching is impressive
Infrastructure is very well developed and new with well equipped lab and refreshment areas.
Connectivity from various major citiea are easy as college is just 2 hrs away from Vijayawada and Hyderabad

Dislikes

Climate us very hard to adjust with. Its mostly dry and hot
Local language is a bit hard to learn and most locals are very less educated
Syllabus is very vast and so there are very regular classes which feels quite tiring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

It’s just college life

Likes

It has an equal boys to girls ratio and gives us many opportunities to interact and also learn from my classmates. The playgrounds are always available and it has space to walk. The hostel is comfortable and it provides us with healthy food.
The teachers are very helpful in answering doubts and also even if we approach them for basic problems like even hot water they help us lead to the solution and make us believe everything is okay or soon will be fine.
The friends I have made help me from getting overwhelmed when I am homesick and also study with me which gives all of us confidence.

Dislikes

As I have dust activity it actually is a bit of a problem due to the construction work going on and there is dust everywhere but the classes are provided with Acs which help me deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.

The college environment is so pleasant and proper.
The ground here is the biggest in the whole state. CCC. CNN Bb. CC. By no.
Faculty is so supportive and the Principal here gives you freedom to do the things you love. Bb. By CC BB.

There is no much thing that I disliked here..as of now.. be v ci ci Cc. C
Boys hostel facilities like warm water..clothes washing is a difficult one. Bb CC CV by. BB. Bb v. Va be.
Have fun in the college..do not leave your days which are once gone..you can’t have them back.

MBBS is a great subject to deal about in the life... it helps in the overall development of the student in terms of medicine and medications. This college has many hospitals affiliated to itself helping the students in terms of the experience and control.

Expectations and the experience!

Likes

First thing is here,In our college there are very strict rules.
Discipline is considered first here in CAIMS.
The faculty is very serious about studies.

Dislikes

I don't like the food in mess , the food is not worth the fee in my opinion.
We don't have many parties or any celebrations,we only have fest and DGM once in a year.
There were no outings every week ,we have to take permission every time we go home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.

You need to pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance test organized by The Government of India. MBBS is a very intriguing and awe-inspiring course. A mark of around 560-580 is required for state and IP quota students of the general category would land you in this college. Marks of 630+ would bring you to this college through the All India Quota. There's the reservation of seats through, ST, OBC and PwD quota. The counselling process is carried out by DGHS. It takes around one to two months for proper counselling and seat allocation. Require 50% marks in class 12th. Around 530 to 620 marks in neet depending on your reservation. Eligibility of the course: 50% in class 12th, NEET entrance exam qualified with cutoff marks. The application form can be found on the college website. Application fees: State quota- 5000 rs. All India quota- 10000rs (refundable). Application dates: 1-2 months after neet result is announced. Major reservation benefits for IP quota students: Fees only 30000 per year, less cutoff around 570. The application process could be better at notifying the dates of the students. You need to clear the NEET exam conducted all over India for entrance into any MBBS college throughout the country. For ESIC, through all-India Quota, you need 630 marks as per NEET 2020. For IP quota, 560-580 would be good enough The application form and fees would be decided by NTA and would be informed through a notification by GOI. After counseling, For all India quotas, you need to pay Rs.10000 and for IP quota Rs. 5000 as a token amount for booking the seat. For both types of seats, counseling is carried out by DGHS.
