Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides us with hospital internships at the best colleges and allows us to have money in the form of stipends. It helps us gain a lot of confidence as we talk to patients as well as knowledge about difficult cases happening around us.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of the entire course would be 1 crore and it is not increasing. A bank guarantee has to be given at the time of admission and many scholarships are available along with hospital visits and internships in the hospital with a stipend in the last or final year before graduation. The college is still a bit under construction as it has newly become a deemed college, new amenities like gym , new classrooms, ac hostels are being made. For my classmates belonging to other categories the fess is comparatively a bit less but affordable in all cases.

Campus Life

4

I have just started my college life and only a couple of tests have happened so maintaining my college and social life has not been a problem . My social life has increased as I made new friends in college. I have joined the cultural club and also taken part in many events happening in the campus. It has made me overcome my stage fright and I am glad to say that studies is not the only thing in my life even as an mbbs student.

Hostel Facilities

4

Many faculties like hot water , drinking water, enough cupboard space and an in built washroom are present in our rooms. The beds are quite comfortable and big and don't cause any problems. The hostel affordability is nice as it is not highly priced and considering mess food which almost tastes like the food made at home , it is a very good price .

Admission

I being a neet student had applied to various government as well as private colleges. I chose this college because the ratings and and the faculty of this college was better and when I went to visit and I talked to the seniors, they were very helpful and guided me giving me a tour of the college which I really liked and I knew I wanted to attend it.

Faculty

5

The faculty is more in comparison to the children studying in the class as we have separate classrooms for each 50 students during our tutoring and doubts are cleared very effectively. The teachers which are good at certain topics explain very nicely and help us understand it better and making flow charts for us which help us get marks in the exams. Overall, the teachers are very helpful and I like to study in class which then helps me to study at my room only in a lesser amount. As mbbs course is considered as a hard course about 50% students pass

Night Life

4

The intime of both girls and boys living in the hostel is 9 pm and it is a bit early but I think it is mandatory to ensure our safety and security. Smoke amount of time is given to us to play as well as have food in the mess so out closing time is not really a problem. The amenities likes cages and gyms are open till our intime and sometimes even a delay in our intime we don't get scolded at.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
