my repect towards doctors made me choose this profession and having lot of clinical experience is best for this profession . the frequency and timing of exams is more in private medical colleges than government college

the internship would in the hospital at the end of course for 1 year . it gives a clinical experince which will help us lot for our career . we can also get into the operation theaters depending upon on what duty we r posted

Fees and Financial Aid

i got my seat in management quota , for which i had to pay 11.5 alkh per year exluding the admission fee of 55,000 and transport fee of 55,000 . i didnot get any scholarships . for A category seat we ll have to pay 60,000 and admission fee of 55,000 . while the c category seat would cost upto 23 lakh per year

Campus Life

the infrastructure of the collge isnt that great but we had a white coat ceremony and a freshers party in the college premises . there is also a central library with all kinds of books . there is also a ground for football and cricket and a indoor spports area for table tennis and other indoor activities . there is a student express comitte for adressing student issues.

Admission

i had to choose this college due toi my marks in my neet and also there is transport facility to the college . i have applies for three more colleges i couldnt get into them due to my marks and the cutoff mark . as my seat was in management quota the process wasnt complicated and i had to sign few papers and submit my certificates in the college till the completion opf my course

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is about 1:15 . thefaculty are very approchable . the physiology department faculty are good in the first year . there are three internal exam includin prefinal exam . there are also practical examinations and there is also departmental mentorship for group of students

Night Life

the most common hangout spot in the college would be the canteen and most of the students leave to home after a day of classes . few studnets would be playin gsports . th elocality is safe to roam around night as there is camera surviellance and secuirty around the campus and it is situated beside a main highway . the hostel gates will be open till 12 am midnight

Ig compared to other clgs,teaching here is better
I feel very safe inside the campus ,but its too strict

Over strictness,u will have curfew ,u are not allowed to go out of the campus without permissions,u have to wear uniform,too many restrictions
I feel that the management should have more coordination
Restrictions, u are not allowed to bring phones to the classrooms ,if found u will have 10k fine

MRIMS, one of the best Underrated Deemed medical college.

Likes

The hospitals affiliated to medical college have an excellent patient flow, there are 4 hospitals of malla Reddy in the campus, there's a Narayana multi-speciality hospital, mother & child care hospital, malla Reddy hospital and cancer hospital.
There are more than sufficient sports activities available at the college, there is a huge football ground and cricket ground, turf, basketball court badminton court and table tennis
The food in the mess is really great, non-veg food is served daily, there are a lot of food stalls of cafes and other major brands inside the campus like Barista. The lecture halls, practical labs and classrooms are well maintained and spacious.

Dislikes

The vegetarian dishes made in lunch usually suck, but I'd say in comparison to other hostels, the hostel of this college serves edible food, but in comparison to non veg dishes the vegetarian dishes don't taste that good, so veg people face problems
There's a lot of construction going on in the campus as of now, which makes the campus look aesthetically non-pleasing, but it's only for the time being as it recently got converted to deemed University they are upping the standard of the infra.
The hostel room given to some of the boys are relatively bad to the other hostel rooms. We weren't given tables, cupboards and chairs when we arrived at hostel, after a month we were provided all the basic necessities.

Things I liked in my college is freedom its not too strict students have the freedom to explore and learn, there is no place for partiality.
The staff in college is extraordinary crystal clear concepts will be delivered to students.
The environment of college is quite peaceful to learn and its neither too far or too near to the main city making it accesible to students.

Dislikes

The main problem I have encountered is food theres a routine schedule in mess which bores students and they end up ordering food from outside

Likes

Faculties are highly qualified and way of teaching is impressive
Infrastructure is very well developed and new with well equipped lab and refreshment areas.
Connectivity from various major citiea are easy as college is just 2 hrs away from Vijayawada and Hyderabad

Dislikes

Climate us very hard to adjust with. Its mostly dry and hot
Local language is a bit hard to learn and most locals are very less educated
Syllabus is very vast and so there are very regular classes which feels quite tiring.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

It’s just college life

Likes

It has an equal boys to girls ratio and gives us many opportunities to interact and also learn from my classmates. The playgrounds are always available and it has space to walk. The hostel is comfortable and it provides us with healthy food.
The teachers are very helpful in answering doubts and also even if we approach them for basic problems like even hot water they help us lead to the solution and make us believe everything is okay or soon will be fine.
The friends I have made help me from getting overwhelmed when I am homesick and also study with me which gives all of us confidence.

Dislikes

As I have dust activity it actually is a bit of a problem due to the construction work going on and there is dust everywhere but the classes are provided with Acs which help me deal with it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is made according to our ability to grasp when we come out of our board exams. The first year might be considered a little touch but it in general is quite different and I personally enjoy studying it . Exams are a bit stressful but if a person has already studied then the tension gets distributed and it feels like nothing.

Expectations and the experience!

First thing is here,In our college there are very strict rules.
Discipline is considered first here in CAIMS.
The faculty is very serious about studies.

Dislikes

I don't like the food in mess , the food is not worth the fee in my opinion.
We don't have many parties or any celebrations,we only have fest and DGM once in a year.
There were no outings every week ,we have to take permission every time we go home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.
