Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of the college is extraordinary it prepares us for the real world difficulties. The hospital provides us with lot of expousre we learn to deal with them. The frequency of exams is apt for students enabling us finish and portion and learn thoroughly.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are no such interships provided in college but every student has to work for a year after 4th year. As its a private college they do not provide any stipend. The best thing about intership is it prepares us for real life situations, balancing work and personal life.

Fees and Financial Aid

A category fee-60000 per annum B category fee -12,55000 per annum C category fee- 25,00,000 per annum A category 1st year- 1,00,000 2nd 3rd and 4th year-60000 Every year an additional amount of 5000 must be paid as stipend fee Other than this no extra charges will ba taken Hostel fee is 1,00,000 for 2021 batch The present fee for hostel is 1,25,000

Campus Life

5

The overall experience in the campus is really fun and vibrant. There are fests held annually and they include sports and culturals and it happens around the second half of the year .The library is fully equipped with all sorts of books and separate seating sections for ug students and pg students makes it comfortable for everyone . There are badminton courts for both boys and girls and others like basketball court and volleyball as well , thus there is something for everyone . The classrooms are quite spacious and well lit and also have projectors and speakers so there is quite really no issue regards to that.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college provides us with food and accommodation, there is so separate for food. Hostel provides students with a room which is usually 2 sharing with 2 beds and 2 cupboards, geyser and water cooler, if required students can get themselves a cooler to survive in summer. Theres a 24hr open study room in hostel and a 24hr open gym room. Badminton court in hostel open in the morning and evening timings depend on the usage. Food provided in the mess is good but after a certain period of time turns out to be boring which is common problem of hostels. Registration process is quite simple just go to accounts department and pay the fee room will be alloted. As compared to other college fee ,the fee over here is quite affordable. Locally there are rooms available for rent price ranging for 3k to 10k per month.

Admission

Admission to any medical college is through counseling so was mine. I have applied to government colleges and other colleges in Hyderabad city like kamineni lb nagar apollo Hyderabad but didn't get into it due to rank.

Faculty

4

The college has good faculty with a fair faculty-to-student ratio ranging from head of department to associate prefessors to assistant professors and PGs. The best faculty in our college are from every department they give us both theoretical and practical knowledge which are most important in our field. The best in our college is HOD ofdepartment of General surgery sir puts forward the topic in an interesting way gives us different point of view of cases We have 2 sets of internals, prefinal and Final every year. The difficulty of exams varies year to year. 95 percent of the students pass the exams with the 1st attempt.

Night Life

5

There are enough cafes and theatres nearby for students to take break from academics. Hostel provides student with well equipped gym separately for boys and girls open 24hr. There is a cafeteria in hospital open for 24hrs and one in the campus which opens at 9:00 am and closes around 2:00 am. Within the campus we can roam about at any time but we have to make entry at the security. By 10:00 pm we must be in campus. There is a library in the campus which is open till 10.00 pm normally and 12:00 am during exams Opens at 9:00am everyday. Sunday timings are different 10.00am to 5:00pm. Hangot places include Pista house Kfc Dominoes Zeeshan Shilpi restaurant BelgianWaffle. All of these are safe to roam around at night

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
