Admission
The admission to this college just like all other govt medical colleges is through NEET UG examination conducted by NTA. A student with an all india rank of around 22000 will be alloted a seat in here(obc/gen) A student belonging to the state of telengana with an all india rank of 115000 could be availed a seat through state quota counselling by state government. I have applied for other medical colleges in kerala university of health sciences and dr mgr university of health sciences tamil nadu. My applications has been rejected because of the high cutoffs in those states. Admission process to this college takes around 15 days and is easy to apply online. The cutoffs trends shows an increasing pattern over last 10 years so the cutoffs could go higher in upcoming years too. The college is ranked around 6th position out of all govt medical colleges in telangana state. No interviews or group discussions should be faced for admission to this college. The college could be kept in a 3/5 rating in south india.
Faculty
The faculty team for each subjects consist of Professor and HOD, associate professors, assistant professors, PG trainees, tutors, attendors. For 25 students one faculty could be assigned. HOD of anatomy department is my favourite. The way of his teaching is different and effective. The faculty i didnt felt good was associates of almost all department as they are assigning work to pg trainees and not putting much efforts. There is a total of 4 exams 3 are internals conducted by college and 1 final conducted by KNRUHS, warangal. The difficulty could be given as; Passing percentage of marks : 50% in each subject No of students failing per year: 8-10 out of 150 The curriculum is very relevant acvording to indian medical standards and requirement and clinical exposurebis also very good in here.
Interview Experience
No group discussion or interview was done for admission process Only document verification and sealing was done during the time. Admussion criteria ias as the same mentioned in mcc website. No extra pricesses are included in the admission process The college office fee of ?500-/- has to be paid during admission time.
