Remarks

You need to clear the NEET exam conducted all over India for entrance into any MBBS college throughout the country. For ESIC, through all-India Quota, you need 630 marks as per NEET 2020. For IP quota, 560-580 would be good enough The application form and fees would be decided by NTA and would be informed through a notification by GOI. After counseling, For all India quotas, you need to pay Rs.10000 and for IP quota Rs. 5000 as a token amount for booking the seat. For both types of seats, counseling is carried out by DGHS. There is a reservation for SC, ST, OBC, Pwd, and IP quotas. The admission process went smooth as Vice-Principal sir himself presided over it. As for counseling, it was a bit time-consuming.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose MBBS for the sole reason that I love to read about the human body in humongous detail. Honestly, if one joins MBBS for the purpose of moneymaking then I suggest you don't because you would be exhausted one day. Here at ESIC, student: teacher ratio is pretty good and maintained. Every 12 student has one mentor, for every subject. Talking about first-year subjects, the cadaveric dissection lab has 9 students per cadaver. So this makes it beneficial to learn anatomy and helpful in surgery too. Second-year onwards there are regular postings till 4th year after which you become an intern and have to serve according to the band signed. All the faculty here are either Ph.D. or Doctor themselves. Well trained and excellent at dispensing their service well. We've seminars, SGD( Short Group Discussion), SDL( Self Directed Learning), and regular PCT( part completion Tests) to improve our learning. It takes regular studies to clear these exams. MBBS cannot be passed by studying one night before exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have various opportunities for scholarships provided by ONGC, ICMR, etc. You need to check the website or consult a senior. This college provides enough opportunities to carry out your own research too. The mentor/ faculty member extends their full support for it. Other financial assistants are also available for the Telangana state student. The fee is Rs. 1,00,000 per year for AIQ and Rs. 25000 per year for IP quota.

Campus Life

5

This college organizes its annual fest AUXESIS every year. It's a 10-day long sport and cultural event. The college has cricket and volleyball ground. It too has a badminton court and football ground is under construction. Apart from this, we celebrate every important festival including Halloween. Most of the books from all-important authors are available here. Journals are also for those who are interested to read. We have a huge 250 seater classroom. Apart from it for sgd, sdl, etc, we've 50 seaters, 60 seaters, 120 seaters too. All classes have A.C. and CCTV cameras installed. We've some social groups too, like public health, literary club, CME, etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

Each and every student gets a room from the first year itself. The preference is given to those who come from outside Hyderabad. For interns, they get a single room. For all others, one 2 BHK flat is shared between 4. It has 2 washrooms, 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, a hall, and 1 storeroom. The hostel is well furnished and is at par with the AIIMS hostel. The hostel fee is Rs. 1000 per year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.
