Remarks

Firstly one cannot deny the perfect location of the college. Overall remark of the college is 8/10 if i was suppose to rate it out of 10. Everything about this college is perfectly fine. Except for the stained old walls and fans.

Entrance Preview

There was no entrance exams as such for my college for the particular course. However the cut off was 60 percent for the ST categories.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have 5 subjects out of which 3 subjects are considered main papers. For instance I've Philosophy, English and Sociology as my main papers. In 3rd year, we are allowed to choose one of the 3 subjects as our major subjects which we will be specialized in.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship in first year as such. Therefore no stipend. However one can opt for any internship on heir own with the recommendation from our teaching faculty.

Placement Experience

3.5

I'm in first year and I have no idea about placements. However I think that there is no placements for arts students. I'm not very sure about this one.

College Events

3.5

Suit Day- where all students were suits in the college.Rainbow Festival- A student for he Northeast studentsEk Rang- A festival to celebrate the diverse culture of students in the college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its very feasible. For a ST category student, an amount of about 7000Rs. is paid in a year. That is inclusive of all the fees. Pretty cheap education and quality education.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nope. However a cash award is awarded for students who ops the class and the categories. Students can approach the office faculties for any available scholarships apart from the state government scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

Wilson College is the most tolerate College when it come to Mumbai i believe. Preference and opportunities are given to all regardless of the background of the students. Infact the college supports the idea of bridging gaps between the minorities and the rest of the section of students.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel has 2 seater rooms. Food is fine, not great. Facilities are great. Cleanliness is amazingly maintained. Staffs are dedicated.Fees are close to 50000 per semester

Alumni/Alumna

If these question is to bring out the idea of ragging or similar, the answer is a BIG NO. seniors are friendly, polite and mannerly behaved. Have not heard of any alumni associations or such.

Exam Structure

Its quite chilled out.One internals and a main exam in one semester.25 marks from internals and the remaining 75 from the main exams.

Faculty

4.5

I'm very satisfied with the faculty of the college. They are all highly qualified and experienced in their own field. I love their dedication and interactions with the students.

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
