Remarks

Selection to the BTech program is done on the basis of JEE Mains and DASA followed by CSAB which is the counseling process.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum consists of internals and ends sem exams each year. There are 2 internals and 2 end sem exams in a year. The internal consists of 30 marks and the end sem consist of 50 marks. The rest 20 marks are awarded on the basis of the project, presentation, record submissions, and attendance carrying 5 marks each.

Placement Experience

About 85% of students in our course got placed other students opt for GATE exam. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Capgemini, Informatica, Infogain, Optimus GlobalLogic, Webkul, Indian Navy, Nucleus Software, Mobiloitte visited the campus. The top roles offered are project engineer and assistant system engineer.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite good and affordable. It is 58000 rupees per annum. It's not very expensive and is according to the reservations. Also, some scholarships are allotted to deserving students.

Campus Life

The gender ratio in our college is around 3:4 for girls to boys. The campus life is awesome and very happening. We have very well-equipped labs which are a great advantage. We also have many sports facilities and proper coaches to teach the students and help them excel.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are quite in touch with the college and keep on doing good for the college. Some are still attached to this college and some show their love by donating things to this college. We have a lovely relationship with the seniors.

Admission

Admission to each course at IIIT follows specific admission criteria. The institute considers the merit of the academic performance for the allotment of seats in each course. Eligible students need to register online for admission.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very able and most of them are highly qualified and have around 10 years of teaching experience. They put in a lot of input to make us understand every detail of the subject so that we can have our basics clear.

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students become eligible to sit in the placement of the college. The college providess oncampus placements and has various connections and ties with various companies like Google amazon and many other. Last year total of 75% students got placed with average of 11lpa package and highest package was 60 lpa. Also this college helps you get internship opportunities right from 2nd year which is very good.

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024.
