KIIT review

Everything has good and bad but for KIIT as I am here for last 4 years the university is quite good

Course curriculum was absolutely fantastic fine but the duration to study the course I wish must he for 5 years, as Mechatronics combines all the major applications of various engineering branches. The course material is relevant 75% to research and industry standards but according to me the remaining 25% is fair as few subjects were needed to be study practically but according to curriculum it was theoretical

College is good for placement but currently die to heavy demand in IT sector the other branches are not doing that well. College is very supporting in nature for internships, I have personally completed 2 industry internships in leading companies like Siemens and Gabriel. I have also completed one research internship in National Farmosa University of Taiwan.

KIIT annual Fest, Chimera, KIIT Film Festival, KIIT Tech Fest, KIIT Food Fest. Many t ch societies in the campus organise their own events based on various topics like finance, gender equality, photography, robotics, food culture, dance, painting, drone competition etc etc

Fee structure is quite expensive as it is private university. Currently I have to pay 16 lacs around including my tution fees + hostel fees+mess fees and other extra fees. So obviously the budget of 16 lacs is quite heavier for all the middle class students studying here.

College did offer scholarship to their students on the basis of semester merit and caste basis also I have opted for SBI education loan of 4 lacs for this course.

Campus life is very good and happening here, KIIT is known for its safety standards that's the reason this university has very high number of girls pursuing there degrees here. The gender ratio is very high here and the weather is supportive for it. Also the college don't have any Student Union elections here.

Yes, hostels are necessary for those students who belongs to distant places like me. The hostel is convenient clean and with big rooms free wifi and good medical facilities the staff here is very kind and talkative enough.

College seniors are good here. No ragging rule no smoking rule making the life very easy. Alumni network is strong in KIIT

Mechatronics was my field of interest and the only A grade Institute in india KIIT was offering it for bachelor course. That's the reason I opted this course in KIIT University. My rank in university entrance exam was 9000+ so I was called to the round 1st where I took the seat for mechatronics

All lectures were time to time and according to credit allotment to each subject. Few were 4 credit courses those have 4 lectures a week and similar for 3-2-1 credit courses. Practicals were exceptionally good as the labs in the schools of university was based on the industry standards and on the tips from the industry experts and professionals
