I took an entrance test for getting admission into one of top 5 Journalism college and did great. Even crossed the interview round with flying colurs.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was divided into 6 semesters and each had exams and the last semester was the dissertation and Research rounds. With each semester projects were allotted.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, it was great. At the 5 semester, we were to do 2 months Internship from any media line. Yes, Stipend was even offered for me , it was Rs.3000 per month.
Placement Experience
During our time no placement cell was made and thus no benefits as such. But with our ability we had got good jobs.The company offered me Rs. 6000 per month on our initial days.
College Events
Yes we too had cultural events, Like Antardwani, Sententias and our Departmental fest as well. We had different types of event involved, Like newspaper making, Headline generation, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our semester fees were feasible for 3 semesters and then there was a huge hike in our fees which left us a little bit worried. At first it was 10, 000 per semester and then it became 18,000.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, it is there. Passed out students were asked to become the part of college alumni. Till now, we had no interaction with our seniors or alumni.But alumni meet were organized for early pass outs.
