Remarks

The college infrastructure is growing there are trying to change the college to autonomous the college has obtained NBA accreditation and has a good campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is good and in every sem we have a project based learning (PBL) in order gain some practical knowledge and in every internals two section apart from syllabus is given namely 1) case study and 2) innovative section where a question is asked in order to know how you can implement ur knowledge solving the problem.

Placement Experience

3.5

Electronics & communication, computer science, TC, information science departments gets placed at a large number than the mechanic and civil department. The institution has a separate placement cell in order to look after the placement of students and conduct placement training, the fee for the placement is separate and is collected with the tution fee.

College Events

4

The college fest named " utsaha " is conducted every alternate sem and every department as it's own department fest conducted once in a year. The departmental fest are small and limited to the funds provided by the department but the college fest "utsaha" is more grand and involves all departments hence making the funds for the fest more and encourages other college members to participate in the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The students entered thourough CET pay the least fee compared to other. As im from CET I pay a CET fee of 49,000 & miscellaneous fee of approx 20,000. You can pay the fee thourough cash, NEFT, RTGS & DD( demand draft). The college doesn't accept payment thourough " cheque "

Fees and Financial Aid

If you belong to any backward classes you can claim a scholarship from the government. E-pass is one a best scholarship which is available. you can either collect the Scholarship which you have applied by paying the fee of the college or you can even let the college know that they can keep the scholarship amount and deduct the college fee.

Campus Life

4.5

Boy to girl ratio is like 60/40. there is no ragging and stuff it's free.Almost 50% of the students here are north Indians. there is sports section,a gym, indoor game room etc you can join any sport your interested in. The labs are well maintained and best library facility is available.

Hostel Facilities

5

No, I'm a day scholar. But you can visit the. Hostel mesh for lunch even if your not an hostelite. The boys hostel is in the campus but the girls hostel I located at a distance of 4 kms from the campus the hostel girl is provided with bus facility.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an portal for the alumni students where they can share anything and their experience. And even the passed out students can also participate in placement if they were not placed during there pass out.

Admission

I got the admission thourough CET (common entrance test) which is a state level exam. According to your rank you can choose among various courses and different colleges which take student thourough CET. once your seat in the college is approved you just have to go pay the fee and it's done, you are official a student of the college

Faculty

5

Each course as a different number faculty. There is a maximum number of faculty in computer science department and the least in civil. All the faculty holds a minimum of double degree in the institution and feedback for the faculty is given by the students every month on a regular basis in order to avoid and gap between students and lecturers.

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
