Course Curriculum Overview

It's mainly a 4year courses. combined of 8 semester.every semester we have to give two internal and a yearly examination and practical examination.and thourough out the semester we have to do our labs practicals projects class's assignment sports and many more.

Placement is good.many companies are coming like tcs,informatics, byjush,capjemini and many more.beyond from technical management companies also coming.

There are many events like cultural fest, Project competition, robowar, engineers day, republic day, water day,diwali, saraswati pujo, viswakarma pujo alumni meet parents teachers meetings tree plantation program earth day celebration photography competition debate competition bollywood night and many more.

Campus Life

They were very good. seniors are very friendly.no ragging.anti tagging committee is also there.so no worries about ragging.there are clubs like dancing photography singing robotics debates. students can join according to their choice and place of interest.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, Hostel rooms are good on condition.there are double single bedroom available. Food is good. The nature of warden is also friendly. Geyser and purifier available. separate bathourooms are there.

Admission

Thourough entrance examination.I gave wbjee that is west bengal joint entrance examination and then I had to do my councilling and then I got this college according to my rank. There are other options also available like direct admission and interview.

The faculties are very good and well qualified.they always do their best and clear each every topic.as it is a practical base study.they are always gave us many practical classes.lab assistance are also very good.they are too much helpful and supportive.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

I got TFW quota in this college from WBJEE Counselling, so for this the total fees for me is 1/8th of the fees paid by other, who take admission through Direct or with WBJEE Counselling itself.
