Remarks

The teaching facilities are really good and the teachers and management are very supportive. We have new equipments for our practical too.The grounds are bit rough but the college is not only environment friendly but also student friendly. The only negative is that college does not have a backup generator.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Course Structure is really tight and efficient. It's apt for students to understand and evaluate their subjects. Course structure is unique and also it focuses on research. The exams and lab are conducted by date with proper timings so there was no problem for us students. It was chilled.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities are vivid. Lot of companies like Tech Mahindra or other companies such as Infosys, Tata Communications.Yes the college does provides us with many internship programs and other activities too. As of my experience it was really a teachable moment in which it gives us more confidence to face an interview board. The stipend offered by some companies were in a range of 50000 to 80000. They also had training programs and other activities too.

College Events

5

There are many events celebrated in our college, such as College Day, Fresher's Day, Youth Festival, other cultural activities. I always participate in events like group dance with my friends. We also celebrate programmes like Onam Christmas in a traditional way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible as the tuition fees it only rounds upto 22000 rupees where as for transport it costs 4400 rupees extra. 22000 rupees per semester. There are total of 6 semesters for us.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a good scholarship chance provided in our college. If you have scored 60% or above in your High school you get deductions in your fees. There are Merit seats available in our college. In future if you have scored good marks in your first semester you will get again deductions in your fees.

Campus Life

4

Extra-curricular activities such as Cricket and Football are encouraged in our college. We even have our own College teams appearing for tournaments. We have a good lab facilities also. We have a well equipped Electronics lab with all the necessary components to carry out the practicals and also a functioning Computer lab with latest systems. We also have NSS program to achieve social skills in students. We have our own entrepreneurship programmes to help students to understand about the economical problems.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No Hostel. There is no hostel facilities provided in our college. Students usually nearby or students who are native to Palakkad is the one main type of students joining our college. If the students are out of Palakkad they usually rent a place for themselves or with any relatives acting as their guardian.

Alumni/Alumna

This institution has its own Alumni network and provides us to interact with them and clear our doubts more clearly and freely. College Seniors gives us lectures on how to face the exam from a students point of view. We had one session with the old college toppers and how to efficiently score better marks.

Admission

I choose this course because I am interested in Computers and technologies. I would like to be tech expert and create cool gadgets and also like to code. My biggest objective is to create an A.I like J.A.R.V.I.S from the Iron Man film. I got admission in this college by an Interview with the Principal of the college and also my marks were an important factor for them to admit me in their College.

Faculty

4.5

The teachers are well qualified and experienced to teach the particular course to students. Their teaching methods are impressive that it makes the course student friendly. The faculty has done a great job of selecting the teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
