Remarks
The College is very good & economical. It is having a Canteen inside its campus.The campus is huge with a lot of trees. Maggi shop is also present near the Hostel. Wi-Fi facilities can be availed.Mobile Networks are not upto the Mark and Also Lecture Hall Complex is quite Far from the Hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is fine. Syllabus is very advanced and upto-date.The exams system is also fine. There are mid Sem and End Sem exams in each Semester.The mid Sem exam are of 30 marks and End Sem are of 70 marks making a total of 100. Practicals are also there carrying a certain weightage.
Placement Experience
Placements are well here.Companies like Tata, Wipro, L &N, Vedanta, Samsung, TCS and many others visits and offers a wide range of placements and internships.The internships available are paid and non-paid.The average stipend depends on company to company.
College Events
There are many technical and cultural fests organised by various clubs in our college. BITAANSH is an annual cultural fest organised by Leo And Arts Club. The FOYC (Fresher of the Year ) contest is celebrated for the 1st year students by Leo and other technical and non-technical clubs.This time many events are organised to showcase the talents in Freshers(like wall painting, dancing, singing, drama, monologue speaking, voting and many competitions )which finally decides the Fresher of the Year. The technical event are:- 1.SANDHAAN -Organised by MODEL club of BIT Sindri. 2.TECH UDHAV- Organised by IETE Students' Chapter. 3.SANDHAAN-Organised by ISTE Students' Chapter BIT Sindri.This fests are organised in March and lot of students participate in many events.Crowds are worth watchable and appreciable.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very cheaper. It is one of the most feasible engineering college in India. The fee for each year is approximately 65, 000(including mess fee, accomodation and exam fee, tution fee and all the miscellaneous charges).
Fees and Financial Aid
e-Kalyan Scholarship are available for reserved categories.BITSaa scholarship is also provided to economically weaker class of students. There is a SBI bank inside the campus which provides loan to needy students. Loans can be easily availed there.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities. labs are quite good. Sports ground is also present. Workshops are done is 2nd Semester. The workshops include Cast Kala, Fitting, Machinary, Foundry Shops and Smithy Shop.Some of the machines are old but we'll working. IT lab is very advanced with an INCUBATION CENTRE included.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. Rooms are clean and big. One room consists of four to five beds with four wardrobes to keep important things. You have to pay approximately 10, 000 annually for Hostel accomodation.
Alumni/Alumna
The Senior are helpful.They share experience and make us aware about what we should not do and do. They provides us exam notes and many more. Alumni Network is also very Strong.Being one of oldest engineering college it has a strong alumni association.Alumni House is also there and many meetings are organised in which Aluminis all over India come And deliver their experiences.
Admission
Basically, the college takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains score. The applicant must have to secure more than 45% in 12th and he must be permanent resident of JHARKHAND. The candidates are required to fill the form (at the jceceb website) generally in the month of (June-July).Two or thouree rounds of councelling is done and admission is taken on the basis of CML rank.
Faculty
The faculties are well qualified and experienced.Being a faculty of a government college is very tough. So they must have worked hard to crack a government engineering college. Almost all the teachers have come from IITs & NITs after completing their PHDs.
