Remarks

Overall you can justify your University as a good one. From teachers to staffs all were helpful in every way they can for the students. A bit of political influence is there which used to distract from our original work if studying but overall one will love our University.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course work was very good indeed and being a two years course, two final exams were conducted in each year which is now converted to semester from of examination consisting of four main exams in two years. Other stuffs from laboratory to library was also very good and the scope of research is also good.

Placement Experience

4

Yes placement was there from our University and companies like Delliote, IBM, Grofers, KPMG, PWC, Genpact used to visit every year and take a handful of good quality students. The package for the students was well and good enough to join as a fresher for their company. No, our University doesn't provide internship in your Masters degree.

College Events

3.5

Fresko was organised by the seniors for the new Juniors who just step into the degree course. It was considered as a cultural event. And many more seminar and event was done during our days. Discussion and anytime on GST and budget was the recent events that too place in our University.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was feasible and was done purely for the below poverty level background students where every individual student can access and study with a moderate fee structure. 120 rupees was given pee month and admission fees was 4000 rupees in our degree structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was provided to below poverty level (SC, ST) students where they used to get 5000 per year and also students with good merits also gets scholarship for forget studies. Many types of scholarship was provided and can access it if you are aware of.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities was not so good as the ground of our University was quite far from our University and therefore hardly any formal tournament was played. Our library was very good and the laboratory thereby. In our department, female students outrage the male students as they were more in number. There were no diversity in any from among students was there which shows unity among them. Workshops and seminars was frequently arranged to improve the efficiency among students.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association of commerce for our department in the University was great and they used to help in any form they can. They seniors were very friendly and nice behaved as they used to help us in any needs.

Admission

I got my admission on the basis of merit as 60% of the students were admitted on the basis of merit and the rest 40% were admitted on the basis of admission test. Being an heritage University i wanted to persue my further studies from University of Calcutta.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was excellent except few teachers. The Professors' were excellent in teaching as they have a vast knowledge and experience in their core area. Some teachers were very friendly and they used to clear our doubts providing extra time for us. Undoubtedly the faculty was very good except few Prof who were harsh in teaching and explaining in the subject matter.
