Remarks

There are no negitive remarks. Ith was one of the most unforgettable 4 years of my life. That collemadr me from nothing to something. I was a socially awkward student before coming to that college. Due to the support from my friends, seniors and teachers, And my confidence has be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our college follow the curriculum of KTU, which is the university under which all the Engineering College in kerala comes. We were the first official KTU batch which started in 2015. The curriculum was of IIT standard and the exams and valuation was also very fast compared to the old University.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college has one of the best placements in kerala. We have a very strong placement cell with great faculties and student coordinators. The placement training sessions start during the third year. The training include confident boosting, mock interviews etc. In my batch more than 70% of the students are placed and that record has been broken by our 2020 junior batch students. Under ktu curriculum, there are points for internship. So most students go for internship during vacation time. Some are paid and some are unpaid

College Events

5

The events are full organized by College students union. There are many students organization in college. It is divided in to technical organization like IEEE, IEI, IEDC, SAE, department association etc and Social organization like NSS, Steps (Students of tkmce for the empowerment of people and society), UNIAC etc. All other comes under clubs like, photography club, music and dance club, film and drama club etc. There are two type of programs conducted in our college. One which is conducted by individual organizations and the other is conducted by College union. Some of the programs conducted by our batch was, Technical: 1. workshops and talks conducted by department association and other organizations like IEEE, IEI, IEDC etc 2. "Evoke" a 3 day technical event conducted by IEEE & IEDC 3. Start-up supported programes by IEDC and many more. Cultural programes: 1. Vibes: Inter branch dance competition, 2. Trubles: Inter branch music competition, 3. Film fest, 3. College arts fest, 4. TKPL Football tournament, 5. Annual sports day and many more small events. Social events: 1. Post flood works, 2. Parants love on Valentine's day where we invited parants from old age homes and gave them a magical day. 3. Other cleaning and volunteering works under NSS, 4. Annual NSS camp, 5. Stem cell donation camp under Steps, 6. Blood donation camp under steps, 7. Sukrtia' 16 which was a 3 day social fest. OUR MAIN HIGHLIGHT PROGRAM IS ANNUAL TECHNO-CULTURAL FEST. LASTLY CONDUCTED ON 2019 NAMED "HESTIA' 19" WHICH WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST FEST IN KERALA WITH A TOTAL STUDENT REGISTRATION OF MORE THAN 10000 FROM ALL COLLEGES IN INDIA. IT INCLUDED MANY TECHNICAL WORKSHOPS, COMPETITIONS AND CULTURAL COMPETITIONS WITH PRICE MONEY UPTO 7L. As a pre program of hestia a kite fest was organized where 2000 kites are flown at a time which was a world record and also beach cleanup after the program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a government aided college, so the fee are very low and feasible and there are many scholarships and other helping community under steps. The only fees are exam fees which is paid during all semester and yearly fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many india and kerala government scholarships range from 10000 to 30000. Other scholarships imclude, alumni scholarship and fee waiver. Loan fecilities are used by some students. All the banks in india gives student loan and the documents for thay will be given from the college.

Campus Life

4.5

There is no any type of inequality. There are different students from different gender, ethnicity etc.but inside tkm everyone is equal. All has there own political and religious view and each other respects it.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

All the first years has separate hostel and from second year onwards it is different hostel where intake is based on merit for boys. There are also many private hostels in that area. The College hostel has a great management which includes faculty and student representative. Facilities include, gym, sports area, study room, tv room etc.

Alumni/Alumna

TKM has one of the greatest and supportive alumni network all over the world. Most of the funding of our college is from alumni. For our program hestia'19, 3/4th of the funding was from alumni and for fresher's, they are a main support for job hunt.

Admission

Interest towards electrical engineering and due to the fact that it is one of the best College in kerala. I got admission thourough managment quota. Due to my interest and due to the best lab and infrastructure, my first optiin was electrical and electronics.

Faculty

5

All the faculties are well qualified. Most of the faculties got there phd doctroate from top colleges like IIT's and NIT's. All the faculties are very helpful to students. Rather than a teacher student bond, there is also a good friendship bond between the students and teachers. So the students has no hesitation in asking doubts and all the faculties provide ws eith there contact no so that we can call at anytime.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
