Remarks

Teaching is good but it could be better if faculties increase. If the college is a little nearer to the hostel then it would be better. Food quality can be increased in mess. If they increase BASLP intern salaries we can function more fully I think.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yes, the course is good with a focus on research after Pg, Yes it's little hectic because exams are semester based so after every 6 months we have to face university exams and not at all chilling and we have to write so much.

Placement Experience

4

Yes, job opportunities are there in govt hospitals. And my college provides internships and they give us Rs 800 each month up to internship but during the internship, they are paying only 3000 which is very less compared to other courses in college. They should increase our internship salary.

College Events

3.5

Annual program i.e.RIMSAM, Foundation Day these are celebrated in a grand way, and side by side independence day and republic day is also observed. RIMSAM Consists of both cultural, sports, and literary events. This continues for a week. And the Foundation day program is for a single day only.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No, it's affordable only 6500each year and during admission, it was only 11500. This 6500 consists of hostel fees, magazine fees, sports fees, tuition fees. But exam fees are different from these fees, we have to pay 3500 each time we face an exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, not any Scholarship is there as far as I know for general category students and without income bar of students family. But there are so many scholarship schemes present for category students.

Campus Life

3

In our course, girls are more than boys. Dancing singing is there during RIMSAM. A ground is there for playing and a basketball court and there is student diversity there is no political among students. There are no extra labs.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel is not so good, infrastructure is not so good not so bad type. We have to pay 18000per year for the mess fee. And mess food for lunch is ok but dinner is too bad to bear. And we are not allowed to stay outside other than hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful regarding studies, admission, and any other problems when faced by students. Alumni also arrange freshers for each and every newcomer irrespective of courses every year.

Admission

Through the NEET merit list of my state and counseling, I got into, as there was only one quota for each northeast state and it was UR category so I went for counseling I opted it. First, I wanted to get MBBS but after I failed to get it then I searched a lot about BASLP as I had this option left, and found scopes in this field of BASLP.

Faculty

3.5

Not so good not too bad and most importantly I should mention that no. of faculties are very less. Faculties should be present from outside also other than local. And practical should be done more thoroughly. And there is a lack of instruments also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average and mostly theory-based. Core CS subjects are covered, but practical learning, updated content, and flexible electives are limited, so we students must rely on self-study. And the exams are also monthly so you have to work on your own to study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The good side is the academics: CSE covers programming, operating systems, algorithms, AI, NLP, databases and related math, with regular curriculum updates in consultation with industry. ECE (including VLSI & Embedded Systems) includes communication systems, control, image processing, CMOS design, IoT, ML and AI, with strong emphasis on labs and projects. Recent placement data shows an overall placement rate around 80–85%, with CSE doing better than ECE, and a highest package near 40 LPA and average around 8–9 LPA for 2024, which is solid for a young IIIT. The transit campus at Mantripukhri still has essentials like Wi?Fi campus, library, labs, auditorium, hostels, faculty housing and playgrounds.
