Course Curriculum Overview

3

The good side is the academics: CSE covers programming, operating systems, algorithms, AI, NLP, databases and related math, with regular curriculum updates in consultation with industry. ECE (including VLSI & Embedded Systems) includes communication systems, control, image processing, CMOS design, IoT, ML and AI, with strong emphasis on labs and projects. Recent placement data shows an overall placement rate around 80–85%, with CSE doing better than ECE, and a highest package near 40 LPA and average around 8–9 LPA for 2024, which is solid for a young IIIT. The transit campus at Mantripukhri still has essentials like Wi?Fi campus, library, labs, auditorium, hostels, faculty housing and playgrounds.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees is very high and value of money is average. And this college placement is average and faculty is good and hostel are good but college infrastructure poor. And college food is good and pure.

Campus Life

2

The campus of college is very small. But the college new campus on the work condition this is very good and largest something 150 acres area covered. But this campus is very small and less of the ground.

Admission

I chose IIIT Manipur mainly because it offered me Computer Science (or ECE) in a centrally funded IIIT with decent placements and a rigorous curriculum at my JEE Main rank. Among the options available in my JoSAA/CSAB counselling, it was one of the better combinations of branch, institute type, and long?term growth.

Faculty

3

The college faculty is good and educate professor from IITs and iisc. The teacher teach to ours with practical. In the college 4-5 computer lab and 2-3 ec lab. The college faculty overall good. But fee's very high

Night Life

2

The hostel night life is good but in this hostel gates are closed 7:00pm. You not go out the hostel after 7:00 pm if you practice the physical gaming so you want to permission from college. So hostel life is good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average and mostly theory-based. Core CS subjects are covered, but practical learning, updated content, and flexible electives are limited, so we students must rely on self-study. And the exams are also monthly so you have to work on your own to study.
