The curriculum of the college is designed to tell us everything about the coding language and impart us with all the basics and advanced levels of coding and programming languages.
If you are involved in any kind of research, you can skip the internship after providing your research status to the concerned faculty and placement committee.

Dislikes

The only drawback of the college is its placement in comparison to other IIITs. The colleges placement percentage is very low; it hardly reaches the 75% mark.
The food in our mess is very bad; we think its not worth our fee.

My Experience at IIITM

Academic Curriculum of IIIT Manipur is very strong and well structured. Also, It is designed to make a perfect balance between the theoritical and the practical approaches in the students.
Placement Opportunities are great as the highest package of the institute for the past batch was 40 LPA and with a average of 9 LPA. The placement opportunities are totally same for both ECE and CSE students.

Dislikes

Campus is small but after completion of permanent campus is will get resolved.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportuninites at IIIT Manipur is Increasing from past few years as the batch size is also increased so, there will be more company visits in the upcoming future time.Last year the highest placement was for 40 LPA along with the average of 9 LPA. Companies like TCS,Wipro and Infosis visit the campus every year.

All about IIIT Manipur

Likes

Teacher's are supportive , they clear your doubts even you ask them 2-3 times and many of them are friendly in nature
It's current location is in Imphal West , so there is no problem for buying anything

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not so good , you have to bring your own racquet as there is a policy that students can issue college sports material for 1 month , so many students issue them and keps the materials with them for a month
The 2nd boys hostel for 1st year is around 3.3 km away , so the college provides bus survice only during morning and evening on class days , if you want to come here on holiday or you want to go to hostel early you have to go on your own .

Placement Experience:

Here , before the protests and tensions in Manipur placement rate was very good , but from two years it is declined to around 80 percent and the highest package of this year is 40 lakh per annum. If no campus placement is offered then one can should apply for GATE exam or can do PHD here.

College review of IIITM

Likes

They very much focus on the academics which is a plus point.
As they keep as ahead in academics so the placements are good

Dislikes

As the campus is not permanent campus so it feels a bit small
The wifi speed is not preety much good which can be increased ofcourse

Placement Experience:

As I told you earlier the college do provides good placements and have a good record of 100% placements. Apart of that many good companies visit for placements like nvidia, Deloitte, jio, TCS, azure and Amazon. Therefore students got the highest package of 40lpa and an average package of 12lpa. But I after getting degree I will go masters.

IIIT Manipur All You need to Know.

Likes

The weather is great here, many good places to visit and scenic views are lovely in the evening. They are visible from the college and hostel
There are adequate facilities for each student including library and other things which are needed by most students.

Dislikes

The Size of the campus is Little small but college life is average
The college is academic based not much events happen but it is changing

Placement Experience:

Currently The placements are going good most of my seniors are getting jobs in Deliotte, Jio, Motive ,Reliance,Azure and Amazon Placement are the toughest things to crack but our college is doing good in placements most of my seniors are placed and happy with thier packages.

How's IIIT ,Senapati really is::

Likes

First of all it is institute of national importance,so you will get that tag whose value is great in the market and you will get here labs which is quite nice
you will like the coding culture which is improving day by day

Dislikes

this college is quite new so you can not get high networking
the infrastructure is not that well as you expect from college like this

Placement Experience:

after 3rd semester some students will get interships in good campanies like amazon,delliote,hp etc alomst 80 percent students got placed yet and many more are giving interviews the highest pacakage is 40 LPA yet .My plan to get skills for what industries are demanding

IIIT MANIPUR Worth going for?

Likes

Great weather throughout the year with less crowd
Classes are not everytime so you get time for yourself too

Dislikes

Only one way to reach their is through flights which are quite expensive
Small current campus it barely fulfills all the requirements

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies come to our each year and almost 80 percent of candidates who are eligible for placement drives get job offers. Keep in mind 6.5 cpi is a necessary requirement to sit in placement drives also with no backlogs.

The college is situated in a scenic place with a small hill just behind our campus
You can expect greater weather throughout the year

Dislikes

Only feasible way to reach their through airways, no railway network in the state. So travelling there costs a lot
Food can be a little off for your liking as the cusine of Manipur is very different from the mainland India

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies visit this college each year and most of the 80 percent of the eligible candidates get a job offer. Well candidates below 6.5 cpi are not eligible for placement drives and they must not have any backlogs too. Average and minimum salary of this college is pretty decent for its ranks with 10 lakhs as an average package

Placement Experience:

Placement is improved in recent years, this year's average package is around 11-12 lpa and the highest package is 46 lpa. We are eligible for campus placement in the 5th sem. Many companies visited our campus. Approx 83% of students get placed this year.
