Likes

The college also celebrates the festivals like holi and diwali.
The infrastructure is excellent, and indeed the employee is excellent.
The placement committee plays an important role during the placement drive as the committee is able to invite a good number of companies and they help us and guide us during the time of placement.

Dislikes

Regular violence breakout and internet suspension
Not having a permanent campus, rudeness of some faculty
Only feasible way to reach their through airways, no railway network in the state. So travelling there costs a lot

detailed insights into IIIT manipur

Likes

the college schedule is not very hectic and this i'm saying because if you are really willing to do something extra apart from college you can do that
the social life is also good like other college
the natural beauty of north-east which is one of best across india

Dislikes

the foremost is the placement is very bad
then the internship is not provided by the college
then after paying a hefty fee you will not get facilities according yo it

Placement Experience:

the placements here are not good like the fee is very high but the average placement are not near to it i.e ROI is very bad also here many students prepare for gate or cat or someone of them who got placements are their own hardwork and patience

My Experience at IIITM

Likes

Academic Curriculum of IIIT Manipur is very strong and well structured. Also, It is designed to make a perfect balance between the theoritical and the practical approaches in the students.
Placement Opportunities are great as the highest package of the institute for the past batch was 40 LPA and with a average of 9 LPA. The placement opportunities are totally same for both ECE and CSE students.
Faculties are very co-operative and well qualifies even they are PHD holder's from IIT's and reputed Institutions through out the nation.

Dislikes

Campus is small but after completion of permanent campus is will get resolved.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportuninites at IIIT Manipur is Increasing from past few years as the batch size is also increased so, there will be more company visits in the upcoming future time.Last year the highest placement was for 40 LPA along with the average of 9 LPA. Companies like TCS,Wipro and Infosis visit the campus every year.

All about IIIT Manipur

Likes

Teacher's are supportive , they clear your doubts even you ask them 2-3 times and many of them are friendly in nature
It's current location is in Imphal West , so there is no problem for buying anything
Hostel facilities are good , you can get good speed wifi

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not so good , you have to bring your own racquet as there is a policy that students can issue college sports material for 1 month , so many students issue them and keps the materials with them for a month
The 2nd boys hostel for 1st year is around 3.3 km away , so the college provides bus survice only during morning and evening on class days , if you want to come here on holiday or you want to go to hostel early you have to go on your own .
The current campus area is small , so there is not so much to discover

Placement Experience:

Here , before the protests and tensions in Manipur placement rate was very good , but from two years it is declined to around 80 percent and the highest package of this year is 40 lakh per annum. If no campus placement is offered then one can should apply for GATE exam or can do PHD here.

Top notch companies like Google ,Amazon, meta visit our campus
Many student got internship from the second years.
Events organised by college is good and fantastic.

Dislikes

Sometime wifi network seems to be problematic.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite upto the mark .in this year placement session gone well .also there is start up culture which is funded by college initially.many succesful startup also take out from the college .

They very much focus on the academics which is a plus point.
As they keep as ahead in academics so the placements are good
The campus is lush green campus which is becomes more better is winters

Dislikes

As the campus is not permanent campus so it feels a bit small
The wifi speed is not preety much good which can be increased ofcourse
As I earlier said the campus is bit small which hinders in organising large fests

Placement Experience:

As I told you earlier the college do provides good placements and have a good record of 100% placements. Apart of that many good companies visit for placements like nvidia, Deloitte, jio, TCS, azure and Amazon. Therefore students got the highest package of 40lpa and an average package of 12lpa. But I after getting degree I will go masters.

IIIT Manipur All You need to Know.

Likes

The weather is great here, many good places to visit and scenic views are lovely in the evening. They are visible from the college and hostel
There are adequate facilities for each student including library and other things which are needed by most students.
All the seniors are very supportive and helpful. They provide great advices and are very hardworking.

Dislikes

The Size of the campus is Little small but college life is average
The college is academic based not much events happen but it is changing
It is difficult to reach here by road transport , only flights are good option

Placement Experience:

Currently The placements are going good most of my seniors are getting jobs in Deliotte, Jio, Motive ,Reliance,Azure and Amazon Placement are the toughest things to crack but our college is doing good in placements most of my seniors are placed and happy with thier packages.

Girls in the hostel are not of good quality

The placement of this college is quite impressive. Average package of this college is 9 lakh per anum.highest package of this college is 45 lakh per anum.placement of this college is 100 percent that is good

How's IIIT ,Senapati really is::

First of all it is institute of national importance,so you will get that tag whose value is great in the market and you will get here labs which is quite nice
you will like the coding culture which is improving day by day
this college is starting tech fest every year

Dislikes

this college is quite new so you can not get high networking
the infrastructure is not that well as you expect from college like this
the faculty members can not take you seriously

Placement Experience:

after 3rd semester some students will get interships in good campanies like amazon,delliote,hp etc alomst 80 percent students got placed yet and many more are giving interviews the highest pacakage is 40 LPA yet .My plan to get skills for what industries are demanding

IIIT MANIPUR Worth going for?

Likes

Great weather throughout the year with less crowd
Classes are not everytime so you get time for yourself too
Intuitive teachers and scenic view in a natural bliss

Dislikes

Only one way to reach their is through flights which are quite expensive
Small current campus it barely fulfills all the requirements
Permanent campus is still not functional so a lot of facilities are still limited

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies come to our each year and almost 80 percent of candidates who are eligible for placement drives get job offers. Keep in mind 6.5 cpi is a necessary requirement to sit in placement drives also with no backlogs.

The college is situated in a scenic place with a small hill just behind our campus
You can expect greater weather throughout the year
Some professors are really nice and will help you a lot. They treat you like you are their own kid

Dislikes

Only feasible way to reach their through airways, no railway network in the state. So travelling there costs a lot
Food can be a little off for your liking as the cusine of Manipur is very different from the mainland India
Original campus is still not functional, it will take atleast 6-10 months more

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies visit this college each year and most of the 80 percent of the eligible candidates get a job offer. Well candidates below 6.5 cpi are not eligible for placement drives and they must not have any backlogs too. Average and minimum salary of this college is pretty decent for its ranks with 10 lakhs as an average package
