All about IIIT Manipur

As it was a CS branch with specialization, so I choosed it . The college circulum is tough as there are classes from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm . The assessment are of 1 hour and the end semester exam is if 3 hour.

Here , before the protests and tensions in Manipur placement rate was very good , but from two years it is declined to around 80 percent and the highest package of this year is 40 lakh per annum. If no campus placement is offered then one can should apply for GATE exam or can do PHD here.

The total fees of the college is high as I had already mentioned that it is around 2.3 lakh per annum and hostel fee is around 2 lakh per annum. But if you are from OBC ,SC, ST ( except general and government employee in family) , you can avail many scholarship and college also helps in providing loans at less interest rate. There is no fee relief for SC and ST caste as it is a public private college ( government has only given money for their building (around 128 crore) and in beginning of the institute around 5 crore for just starting it .

My overall experience is not so good , the current campus area is also small , till now there is no freshers party has done as first monthly exam for 1st year goes on then for 2nd year and simultaneously for others . If you are good enough in any sports , then they can take you to compete with IIT ghuwati or with any iiits . E-sports of valorent and BGMI is also organised between iiit's.

In some rooms there is attached bathroom and for some rooms there is common baathroom. The quality of food provided here is good . There are two hostels for 1st year first is like flats and second is like individual rooms and these hostels are located quite far from campus but for 2 ,3 and 4 year students the hostels are near the campus.

As , I told before I get this college through CSAB counciling and I also applied for REAP Rajasthan counciling but this college looked better then them , so I preferred to choose it. For getting admission in it , you simply have to register after getting allocation of this college in JOSSA or csab

In each section there is 68 students and in my 1st year(2024) there are 4 sections , total students are 239 this year. Facilities behave friendly and nicely if you give respect and talk to them sincerely .All most all faculty is good but in my first semester, I liked Rajshree mam most as they teaches us very well and clears each and every student doubts ( but they make paper little hard ????). There is monthly assessment ( no midsem) and the answers notebooks will also be shown to you ( I hated it, as it looks like school system), after every 20 days there are tests and in final month of the semester there will be end semester, marks of every system will have some weightage in final score and it depends on the teacher that how much weightage he or she will consider.
