Here very good companies comes to offer job
Labs are quite good specially ece lab .

Dislikes

fee is very high compared to college quality.
Campus is too small and it's not permanent campus
I think teachers are quite inexperienced.

Since I'm in first year from that I have intership is also good many students go to companies for intership you can get many opportunities. Companies like unlox give you internship offer to perform better in company

My college life at IIIT Manipur

Likes

The senior over here are very nice and no ragging.

Dislikes

There is no sports facility available with the very small ground
The boys hostel is 5 km far from the campus.

At present leader where if you can finish coming over here to giving job like deloit Infosys and unlock. Which is very disappointing as per the name of the college. Hope to see improvement in the further year.

The worst iiit in entire india

Likes

Culture of manipuri people is good they are helpfull
You can eat chinese north indian food near campus or your hostel
You will not find any difficulty in travelling auto and all facilities are there

Dislikes

Fees is too high and facilities are not even worth 5lacks
Senior staff or faculty are so rude towards student
Fine system in very small things you are fined with minimum 5k to 10k like you are late coming to hostel after 7pm you are fined with 5000 rupees

We are juniors so we really dont know about the placements no faculty told how much average what is the highest placement and we himself didnt ask seniors about the placements also in website they mention it is 9 lacks average but we dont the reality inside

IIIT MANIPUR by Glance of its own student

Likes

Atmosphere is very good.No issue of safety
Hostel rooms and washrooms are good enough for the 1st year atleast
Mess food is good enough like Breakfast and lunch is very good.

Dislikes

Unwanted strictness like even if you do a small mistake you need to pay minimum fine of 10K
Dinner is not very good, sometime you prefer Sleep without eating at night

Internships Opportunities:

IIIT MANIPUR facillates 2-6 mounth internship for B.tech students. COMPANIES like Amazon,TCS,Infosys, Deloitte,Cognizant provide 2-6 mounth internship for students Other companies like Finoit,CGI,Metacube also engaged with institute.

Placement and other things are decent comparatively not that great but okay okay. Also the girls to boys ratio is decent comparatively to other engineering colleges

Dislikes

The management is absolutely gross and pathetic they can't even throw a freshers party , they gave us dustbins for hostels after atleast 3 months of moving.A local uncle can manage better than them .
The facilities are abysmal , no good playground neither good sports equipment not even at par with a tier 3 school rather than a decent college , even the cultural activities and clubs are not at par with any other decent college. Campus Life is okay
The teacher to faculty ratio is very less , not that interactive study and teaching methods , just mundane and ineffective lectures, they don't give a shit except completing the syllabus.Even though curriculum is as regressive as it can be.

Placement Experience:

I am a first year student so I have a limited knowledge about this , pehaps from 6th 7th semester you become eligible for placements , Deloitte and other companies , highest is 45 lakhs , median is around 13 to 14 lakhs. Percentage of students placement is low , I don't know the exact number. My plans after this I don'ts even know.

Experience of IIITM

Likes

The environment is good here which is pollution free.
If you want to prepare for competitive exam then its a good college

Dislikes

Small playground, broken courts, don't have enough space for playing
Girls to boys ratio is also very low, because no one wants to come that far from home

Internships Opportunities:

I don't think so that the college does provide any kind of intership opportunities you have to learn at your own and be capable enough of getting internships at your own. For getting internships you have to do a handfull of hard work.

Likes

Learning in peer group here is a good experience, peers are good, our cse faculties are also good.
Events happens regularly with good prizes, hackathons are also happening, and fests are also there.
Curriculum is very good, it gives us structured learning.girls isto boys ratio is decent, it's something around 1:4.

Dislikes

Hostel is 3 km away from college and buses are not regular so it increases our auto cost.
College is very strict, there is too much system of fine.

Internships Opportunities:

There are so many internship opportunities from 1st year itself, one just have to grab those opportunities, everything is good here , we get good roles as well, companies giving internship are unlox, Deloitte and many more.

Likes

There is very good interaction with faculties .
There is very good natural environment .
There is good hostel facilities with good warden.

Dislikes

Boys Hostel in not without college campus.
Old campus don't have a playable (very small) playground.
Faculties is not sufficient to take class.

Internships Opportunities:

Tcs, wipro, infosys and others companies offer internship. Project like making an application, making a drone based on which you get internship. Many of students got internship this year in mentioned companies this year as well.

IIIT Manipur student review

Likes

Faculties are excellent, they are very helpful and dedicated to their work.
We have a very good girl to boy ratio considering an engineering college. We have 1 girl on every 10 boys.
We usually have a lot of events throughout the year, making this institute enjoyable.

Dislikes

The only thing that I don't like about our college is the mess food , apart from that every thing is good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like NVDIA , Amazon,QualQuam , tcs , infosys, motive and many japanese firms come to our campus. Highest package offered this year was 40 LPA and lowest was 6 LPA. 76.4 percent was the placement percentage this year. Many students also go for masters in abroad.

IIIT worth it or not

Our campus is ragging free,teachers are supportive.teacher is to student ratio is quiet appreciatable as there are around 60 to 70 student in case of cse and 40 to 50 in case of ece course. Female teacher are very beautiful like actresses and models.
Behind our college there is very beautiful mountain range.Infact the whole city is a valley surrounding by many mountain ranges. On every Holiday our whole class use to go hiking. There is very much greenry in my campus.
Labs are well maintained and are open to use any time you want.

Dislikes

Girls is to boys ratio is vary low. Many male teachers including HOD and director.
The area is vary much disturbed due to regular voilance break out between communities. The are internet suppensions without any restarting date.
Seniers in this college are fools and idiot. Drugs are easy available in this area which also with cheapness

Internships Opportunities:

internship are available but aren't availed by most of the students but college try ist best to do so, a student has hiher probability of getting offcampus internships their are project making competions and assighment involving research and project making.
