Likes
- Placement and other things are decent comparatively not that great but okay okay. Also the girls to boys ratio is decent comparatively to other engineering colleges
Dislikes
- The management is absolutely gross and pathetic they can't even throw a freshers party , they gave us dustbins for hostels after atleast 3 months of moving.A local uncle can manage better than them .
- The facilities are abysmal , no good playground neither good sports equipment not even at par with a tier 3 school rather than a decent college , even the cultural activities and clubs are not at par with any other decent college. Campus Life is okay
- The teacher to faculty ratio is very less , not that interactive study and teaching methods , just mundane and ineffective lectures, they don't give a shit except completing the syllabus.Even though curriculum is as regressive as it can be.
Course Curriculum Overview
Ai boom and iiit tag and lack of options that made me choose my course , I don't know how well the curriculum prepares us for the world ( this is india no one knows) . The frequency is decent for a engeneering college and also exam are expected to be difficult but there relative grading so who cares .
Placement Experience
I am a first year student so I have a limited knowledge about this , pehaps from 6th 7th semester you become eligible for placements , Deloitte and other companies , highest is 45 lakhs , median is around 13 to 14 lakhs. Percentage of students placement is low , I don't know the exact number. My plans after this I don'ts even know.

Campus Life
Ahouba is the only decent tech fest in the college perhaps the biggest in imphal,typically jab feb or March are the months ahouba is hosted.libary is there but the books are limited to course related stuff nothing library like. Just a smart board and a terrible mike are the only facilities in the classroom. Sports and extracurricular activities are just pathetic , manipur state sports infrastructure is far far better . There are several clubs but majority are stagnant nothing intresting.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is decent , it is quite spacious, we have a almirah a table a bed , shared washroom and bathrooms . Mess food is of decent quality taste and quality is okay but the dinner is not great . The hostel and mess are quite affordable comparatively to other colleges
Admission
Colleges like smvdu and other gfti we were getting at our rank and certain northeastern nits like not Meghalaya civil engineering etc. I choose this because it was a IIIT and I was getting cse there better than it alternatives. Rank went wrong that is why I didn't get better colleges. Jee mains 93 94 percentile would be sufficient for this college , admission processes is fairly simple and systematic , give jee and sit in csab or jossa councelling
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is approx 130-40 to one perhaps a bad one . Not a very great student to faculty relation except few , although faculties are very approachable. There are 3 assesment of 25 for each subjects and a end semester examination in each semester also including mid term for lab exams. And for curriculum has it certain flaws that was explained to us by the faculty only but I doesn't have the expertise to comment on it
Night Life
Only people that can roam around in night are KCP and others (in imphal) apart from the terrible politics , it is a great place gyms are great and affordable , imphal has the most beautiful cafes and bakeries especially rooftop cafes . 8 pm hostel gate closes . IT IS NOT AT ALL SAFE TO ROAM AT NIGHT THIS IS MANIPUR, READ SOME NEWS .
