Remarks
There are many negative remarks for my college as the placement is poor. Least companies come in our college. Not great academic records. Not great lab structure. Too much false Propaganda. Higher Fees Structure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decent in my opinion as it could be improved much better. The exam structure is average. During the semester exam the management provides a strict guard in the examination halls.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are zero as no companies comes to give a good placement or internship. You have to get job from off campus interviews. The management gives us false hope for a good placement.
College Events
Many kinds of events are celebrated in our college. Like the teachers day,The cultural fest,The saraswati puja, Viswakarma Puja. The main event is the cultural fest which is organised by the 3rd year students of the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is quite expensive compared to the college ambience and academics. There is a contestant price change in the fees structure. For B. tech Course It would cost around 3. 75lakhs for a 4year course.
Fees and Financial Aid
They offer good scholarships and loans for the bright students. The loan process takes a little bit of time. The scholarship facility also takes a little time as the students wait for a long time to get their scholarship.
Campus Life
The labs are poor. There is not much machines in our labs. The extracurricular activities are much better than the labs. Teachers host many kind of activities throughout the year. There is zero politics in our college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are pathetic. The rooms are large but the beds are not well comfort. The hostel Fee is 10000 rupees per month as it is too much expensive for a middle class student. The were many PG's available through the area. It costs around 5-6k.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were great. They helped us on each and every way. They were very friendly. But the alumni network is not that great. As there is no alumni network in our college. The seniors helped us at the time of the exam and also on every academic session.
Admission
I appeared on WBJEE 2014 and got a rank of 7018. Then I got to know about my college from a phone call from the Administration. They called me for interview and admission process. I got selected on the interview process. After that I paid the admission fees and got admitted. I liked the college campus,the ambience. The faculties were very friendly.
Faculty
The faculties were no doubt great. The teaching staffs were very high qualified. The teaching infrastructure is also good. But the teaching ambience is not that great. As too much loadshedding takes place during our classes.
