Remarks

The positive mark is all teachers are very helpful and the college campuses are beautiful, the principal sir is a very good man. All staffs are very supportive, very kind. I mostly like the college's labs.

Course Curriculum Overview

My opinion on the course curriculum is there are so many courses available like mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, etc. And also diploma courses are available here. And the exam structure is there are a total of 6 exams held in 1 year like 2 internal and then 1 semester in 1st six months. Thereafter the same processes will be held.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are not so well in st. Marys technical campus Kolkata, I'm very disappointed in this matter. Because we are technical students, we are learning engineering, for what. If we don't get any placements so why do we are learning something like that.

College Events

There are so many lists to discuss the events celebrated in ST. Mary's Technical Campus Kolkata. 1st of all every year college celebrate a grand program for freshers ( newcomer students ), a look like a welcome party. There are also some cultural programs was organized. Some blood donation camp. Etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

ST. Mary's Technical Campus Kolkata colleges fee structure is quite good. Not so expensive compare to another college. The overall fee structure is all ok for me. Like my semester fee 16000 only. It is affordable for me.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes ST. Mary's Technical Campus Kolkata provides good scholarship and loan facilities, and also college provides stipends. I'm a schedule caste holder, every year I get a stipend from the West Bengal government, and my college is helped me to get the scholarship.

Campus Life

ST. Mary's Technical Campus Kolkata college has good condition labs, computer labs, welding labs, also has a ground for paying like football, cricket, volleyball, running, etc. Our college provides bus services also, and the bus conditions are also quite good. college have their own Gym.

Hostel Facilities

No, I do not opt for a college hostel, because I always stay in good areas, look like metropolitan cities, and my college location is in the village places like, so I don't take hostel facilities. So I don't know the hostel infrastructure and facilities. But I heard that the hostel facilities are quite good.

Alumni/Alumna

No comments on the alumni network. And the senior student's behavior is awesome. They are so helpful and cooperative, they are treated like our guardians. Good behavior. Our college is fully covered in no ragging area.

Admission

At 1st I complete my diploma in mechanical engineering at Santiniketan institute of the polytechnic. After completing my diploma, I'm trying to find some good B.tech colleges in west Bengal. Then one of my friends tells me St. marys technical campus Kolkata is good for b.tech. then I join this college.

Faculty

My opinions on the faculty of my college are quite good. Not bad. All facilities are normally good. But sometimes the faculty are not available when I need their help. Overall all ok. I really like their facilities.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.
