Remarks :

Campus with great freedom. Increases students management skills and help them gain confidence by being part of everything themselves. Great atmosphere and infrastructure and facilities. Good popularity among people.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There was adequate time to learn the course thoroughly. Two series exam and one main exam every semester. Course covers all the basics required to move ahead in that particular subject and provides enough scope for research oriented work.

Placement Experience :

Placements are high, especially for computer science and information technology departments. The companies include Infosys, qburst, amazon, Cisco, TCS, wipro etc. Internship is provided to interested students.

College Events :

Technical festival here is one of the biggest in South India. Takes place for 3 days. Filled with workshops, games, paper presentations, talks, auto shows, concerts, dj nights etc. Cultural festivals are hosted between university Colleges. A lot of people participate from all over kerala.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. Under state quota, nearly 25k per sem. 50k for national quota, and 70k for NRI quota. The fees includes tuition fees, library, pta, multimedia, exam charges and other charges. Educational loans and scholarships are available.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loans available from banks. Scholarships given to economically backward students. Also scholarships available for reserved categories. IT department has student exchange programs with institutes in Shimona, Japan annually.

Campus Life :

All types of extracurricular activities promoted and supported. Huge space for grounds, indoor and outdoor courts, basketball, cricket, badminton, football, chess, table tennis, fencing, boxing, swimming etc. Film groups and theatre groups are present. Weekly world cinema screenings.

Hostel Facilities :

Many university hostels available for boys and girls separately at very cheap rates. Rooms are veena and well maintained. Good infrastructure. Mess facilities available. Single person, or 2 person rooms. Frequently cleaned and maintained bathrooms. TV, internet and sports facilities.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors and alumni get in touch regularly with College and students. Seniors are supportive of fresher's and help them in any way they can. Alumni organise and fund scholarships and other events. Also they sponsor events.

Admission :

Online Exam, followed by Rank List. Spot admission also available based on rank. 12th standard percentage not considered in entrance exam. Entrance exam is national, so students from all over india are present.

Faculty :

Most of the faculty are really knowledgeable on their subjects and have 10+ years experience in teaching. They are also interested in providing students a better understanding of concepts rather than just textbook knowledge.

Placement Experience:

Students can avail placenta from the 7th semester where a lot of companies are available. I don't know about the highest package but all of them are pretty decent. Most of the packages are IT and sales.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
