Course Curriculum Overview
The course Microbial and food technology is quite interesting and have much scope in today's world as Food industries has evolved their scale. We have so much options after graduation we can go in research field, dietican, Food scientist and many other and basically it will give us two options one in microbiology world and other food technology. The course is in detail and have much lab work so Yes, its hectic but one can manage.
Placement Experience
Yes, it provides placement our college have placement cell drive so a lot options are there. Our course include intership after exams one month we have to go for our intership which is a part of college assessment. I had my intership in Mondelez International Cadbury in Baddi sandholi which is a multi national company it was the best time learnt so much from them. It's quite useful and provide hands on training.
College Events
Meraki Annual fest is celebrated in our college which is quite popular in tricity as its a open fest anyone can join and play games and participate in different competitions. Science fest, Sports day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible not expensive as its a private college so Yes, its expensive then government college but feasible than other private colleges, approx 30000 For Bsc Microbial and food technology and 18000 for BA.
Campus Life
Many extracurricular activities are performed and conducted in our college and they are very helpful academic wise like many worshops are conducted on food safety and it's awareness.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostel is there and there are many seats provided on the basis of merit first. Well maintained as college is given swachta rank 1 in Chandigarh can share hostel room with two or more and many PGs are near by which provide food but I am local living in Chandigarh.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were quiet good and helpful they used to guide us and help us in studies providing notes, recommending books and authors and Yes, always motivating us to study and score good in finals. Helping us throughout in project works or praticals.
Admission
MCM Dav is best it was very clear in my mind to take admission there and the course which I selected is quite interesting and different from other streams 'Microbial and food technology ' and in today's world food technology has much evolved. The admission process was totally on merit based.
