Overall moulana azad colege is a good college with good faculties,big central library with lots of precious books,well equiped labs ac classrooms etc. But the college does not have any playground. Moreover the colege does not offer any campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course i.e. bsc honours in statistics consists of 6 semester in this 6 semesters there are 14 core course papers, 4 general papers, 4 dse papers, consisting of 6 credits each. Other than that there are aecc,envs and 2sec courses consisting of 2 credit points each
Placement Experience
Maulana azad college being a government college doesn't provide any internship or placement opportunities. But the faculty members help us in guiding us about higher studies or even landing a job but campus placement doesn't take place
College Events
Our college organises various cultural programs including freshers for the new comers, annual function, farewell for the third year,fests, teachers day celebration, dbt star program, environment day etc are organised by our college
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of our college is feasible. It is easily affordable by middle class families. The annual fees for science honours is INR 2015 The annual fees for humanities honours is INR 1545. The annual fees for B.Com honours is INR 1645. The exam fees are negotiable and vary from subject to subject

The college doesn't offer any scholarships but government of west bengal offers many scholarships. These are 1. Swami Vivekananda Merit - Cum Means schoralship 2. West Bengal Minority development and finance corporation 3. Inspire 4. Kanyashree 5. Chief minister ( Nabanna) Etc
Campus Life
Maulana Azad college is a very old college. The college organises extracurricular activities like table tennis match, tug of war, essay competition, photography competition, carrom match etc In this college students from different castes,religion,and also from different parts of eest bengal comes to study here
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very helpful. They always guide us in our studies and also in any problems we face in our college. The seniors sre also helpful. They provide us with important tips and tricks for the exam and also how to prepare in the exam.
Admission
At first we have to fill the online application form of the college by providing the necessary information i.e. marks obtained in 10 +2 ( best of 4),marks obtained in the subject in which I want to pursue my honours, my name,mothers name,fathers name, address,phone number,email,etc. After filling the form,merit lists are published from the college. And if yoir name is in the merit list,then you will be called for document verification and then admission.
Faculty
The faculty members are well qualified and possess a sound knowledge about the subject. They are well versed in modern computer softwares. They are very helpfull and always guides us in our projects, practical. If we have any problem with our subject, we can just approach themand they are always there to help us
