Remarks
Positive thing include good placements, various fests including technical fests, sports fests, cultural fests, faculty support. Negative things include lack of placements of some integrated course branches, fund allocation for sports events and various tournaments.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is a bit lengthy. The course is diversified and contains a bit of unnecessary syllabus which becomes hectic during exam preparations. Labs and exams are completely fine, we get a lot of time.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are good but not equally available for all branches. Some branches' student do not get opportunities to represent themselves in any placements due to lack of recruiting companies.
College Events
There are quiet a handful of events held at the institution. They include cultural fest 'SAMAVESH' which contains various fun events. We also have technical fests, individual branch fests also fests of the various clubs at the University. Inter college Sports fests are held once in 2 years.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is quiet feasible here. Around 70000-75000 per year is the total fees including the boarding fees of students. And around 45000 is the fees for day scholars. But sometimes fees increment in the middle of a year creates problem for students especially for those who take study loans.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes students bag a good amount of scholarships like medhabruti, pradan, ex-army, minority, various government scholarships, etc. TFW scheme is also available to students. Yes, loan is also available for students.
Campus Life
Various extracurricular activities are available that includes sports clubs, automobile clubs, robotic club, audio visual club, singing and dancing club, gymnasium, yoga club, literary society, photography and arts club. Both male and female students participate in good numbers. Sports clubs have very low number of females.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructures are good, well planned, and standard size rooms. All facilities are available including washing machines, lifts, water purifiers. But cleanliness has always been an issue in some hostels. Yes various PG's ate available in the vicinity of the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes alumni network is very helpful at all times. For every clubs, for placements, funding, internships alumni ate very supportive. Even college seniors help for any mishaps to students during various events. Once we had a player injured during a football match. His fore arm was broken into pieces. Within few hours we collect more than the required amount for his surgery. Thanks to the alumni of vssut.
Admission
The college accepts candidates based on JEE Main exam rank card through OJEE counselling. Document verification and fees submission through DD are carried out later on the institution on a specified date.
Faculty
Faculties are well experienced. They have got qualified from prestigious institutions and also have great knowledge on their respective streams. They are supportive too. But the administration should distribute projects topics of students as per the teacher's stream.
