A short summary of my college

Overall I love my college except we don't get any break between the lectures and have to bunk classes or being late for the same sometimes. I don't even like my college canteen, they don't cook good food anymore since, the last tender have been changed.

The syllabus available on DU site is outdated so, it creates problem sometimes. There's 2 part of exams, one is internal exam ( for 25 marks) which is conducted by teachers and the main external exam ( for 75 marks) which is conducted by university.

The placements and job opportunity are interesting and nice. At the start of 6th semester so many well known companies comes for campus placements and conduct interviews. Yes, my college provide internships. There's a placement cell in my college, runs by teachers and students. I did 2 internships in my last break and it was a really good experience for me. And about stipend, sometimes it's in terms of money and sometimes it's in terms of certificate and experience.

There are so many societies in my college like Commerce society, picholics, economics society, etc. And they conduct events and games accordingly. There's also a annual fest in my college where known singers and dancers come.

It's actually feasible not expensive. We have to pay our fee annually. For example, if there's 3 years in your course then have to pay 3 times in 3 years. Annual fees of every course is about 10-12k and I think it's not expensive.

So, there are some scholarships available to students. Some scholarships are only available on basis of caste but the others are based on sports and activities. There's one more that depends upon our semester performance.

There are computer labs, chemistry labs, bio labs, library and a playground in my college for the extracurricular activities. In sports, students gets chance to play at college level and then even on state levels and I guess it's quite good for any college student.

Yes, all the seniors are so helpful since my 1st semester. You can always go to them for any problem either related to studies, college or any other activity. They were always there for me in my junior years.

As per the cutoff lists, I got admission in 6th cutoff list. 1stly I've to verify my 12th class marksheet and percentage in college office and received the admission form later. After filling the form and submission of fees on DU website. I've got the admission.

All the teachers are highly qualified and there attitude towards students (us) is quite good. I like all my teachers except some of them because there way of teaching is not good as compared to others. So, if I've to give ratings to my college faculty then I'll give it 3/5 stars.
