Remarks

Our college has more positive than negative. Staffs are Fully professional and especially mech staffs are mostly from IIT and they have there own authorised books which the students across country read it for exams. Best college in MYSURU

College Events

Tequip, survey monkey, techNIEks, technical fest, automotive fests, cogniscience, skill development, placement advisory, IEE, Robotics, Onyx, Sports, Cultural activities, management, co-curricular activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its good for kcet people's and jee is some higher and for comed-k its 25% of management seat and management seat is from 5lakhs. Hostel fees is 90000 per annum including food and has gym and washing machines

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes they provide scholarships for topper of the branch and college. Also government provides the scholarship. Many scholarships are there foe inventions, toppers, sports persons, good presentation and inventing something and which is useful for college

Hostel fees is 90000 per annum including food and has gym and washing machines and free wifi and also they have well furnished tables, chairs, lockers, and also parking lots also clean mess for food. It is well maintained and disciplined by manager and Management

Narayan murthy the owner of Infosys itself our alumni and many are there which we won't know. Also Bangalore microsoft head is also alumni of our college, D A prasanna is also alumni of our college and many more.

Admission

I got through KCET and our college is reputed in INDIA and many students dream is to come to our college. Teaching is awesome. Especially for mechanical its the top in the state. Placements are awesome

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
