Remarks
My college somewhere lacks in infrastructural area. Academics are of its best of the ability. Clubs/societies are effectively & efficiently working in my college. Moreover, it lacks in providing sports facilities too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was entirely as expected. It outperformed my odds and was far better than what other courses could teach me. It included various practical classes which provided me the sense of application of knowledge. The classes are mainly calm and chilled.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of my college is great and includes 30 active members. We also have a good internship cell. One could easily take up an internship, if he/she is well versed in English. Various multinational companies such as Ernst & Young, Tommy Hilfiger, Deloitte, KPMG etc offer good jobs with a satisfactory stipend.
College Events
My college holds certain festivals & events which includes:- Mock stock competition where one is given virtual stocks to invest and manipulate the virtual financial market. Cultural fest where many different groups showcase their elegant dance performances and it includes a whole range of activities. Annual fest where college invites artists which shows their best of the abilities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as it is run by the government itself. The teaching staff, co-curricular activities are considerable when related to the fee one has to pay. Fee amount varies from course to course but mostly it is linked to INR 15000 and in my course it is INR 18000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, in this case, I am not sure of any scholarship/loan facility offered by my college. I am not sure if my college provides any scholarship facilities as admissions are totally based upon merit list and thus different colleges are categorized according to the same.
Campus Life
The area of extracurricular activities is very vast at my college. All kinds of workshops are conducted and every student enthusiastically takes part in them. As it is Sikh majority college, most of the students are Sikh but when it comes to organizing any event, every student considers one another at the same level. SOI is the ruling party in our college which is showcasing its majority from past 3 years
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, senior students & Alumni are really helpful. Some Alumni are connected via LinkedIn and provide direction to attain professional experience. Moreover, daily interaction with the seniors gives constant motivation and know-how to get a certain task accomplished.
Admission
I had a good grasp in accounts & Economics and was serious to continue it further. I was waiting for the merit list and in earlier lists, I didn't get admission in any of the good colleges but fortunately, I did get admission in a good college with my preferred course.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is truly remarkable. The educators are Professional in their respective subjects. Also, they give some extra tips on how to act in a professional background. Moreover, they deliver more practicality to the subjects.
