Remarks

College management is not so good and of course not friendly.

Entrance Preview

KEAM, Score-175Instrumentation engineering was heard to be one of the branch with most scope of getting a job,and college is well known for the ranking and successful job placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

College has enough well qualified faculties.College is a bit too strict overall. All the staff are friendly and helpful both on and off campus. But some of the faculty members are more focused on personal gains from the job.Like being focused on the pursuing P.hd and higher education so that they can gain in their job position.

Internships Opportunities

College does provide internships and small workshops. These workshops usually will be 2 or 3 days long, and at most one week.Lots of one day workshops are being conducted regularly by the various departments. College will charge a fee for all this with some exceptions. And the fees will be much lesser then what will be charged outside the college, usually with 5000.

Placement Experience

3.5

More then three quarters of the final year students gets placed in various companies every year.In the recent years the major share goes to TCS.Software based companies recruit high number of students. These companies offer packages in the range of 3 to 5 lacks.

College Events

3

College provide many stages and opportunities for students to showcase and develop their talents. There are many events and festivalsTechnical Festival-college conducts and inter college tech-fest every year which features many technical and cultural events and competitions. Arts Festival-2 days arts festival is conducted every year concentrated on the arts department.Batch Day-Every year all branches conduct their own batch day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are feasible in the normal range.College allows government and private scholarships and stipends. But the cost of commodities provided by the college are extremely expensive. Hostel feasility is not bad in the above average range.Canteen food and mess food are extremely bad and everyone complains about them.Hostel fees are in the range 6000 - 10000

Fees and Financial Aid

College allows Post Metric scholarship. Which is only for students who have passed all the subjects in the previous semester and have percentage aggregate of above 60.

Campus Life

3.5

College campus is small but it has enough facilities and greenaries for a relaxing environment.Bunking class is extremely hard. All the classroom and campus are fitted with cctv cameras, and if a misbehavior or a problem occurs only they will be checked.Gender ration in the college is almost equal. There are no students from abroad.most of them are from local areas.Labs are good all the lab staffs are much more friendly and open. All the labs have enough feasilities.College support sport involved students.college has a football team, basketball team, badminton team, cricket team, and athletics team.It also has teams for others small games like chess etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students don't visit or contact with the college. All their interactions are outside of college. All the respective branches have their own association which they use to be in contact with others and to inform about some useful information like jobs.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
