Remarks

The positive thing about the college is that since it is being run by priests it does have a very well disciplined student community. They do help in building up the next generation with commitment towards the society.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course Structure was a good one but i would not call it a perfect curriculum. The course i had taken misses out on papers like british history which is an important paper which provides us with a basic knowledge on a subject one could do a research on in his poat graduation period.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement and job opportunities were in offer. And management had made sure to bring uopn reputed companies from around the world when it came to placements. Being the topmost hotel management college in the state the management had contacts with many hotels, resorts, cruise ships which did opened up humongous opportunities to our hotel management students.

College Events

4.5

The college used to conduct manh events and cultural programmes throughout the academic year as they said that those were what kept the students in peak energy levels. Apart from the regular cultural activities and festivals the college conducted many events on their own to set up a stage for the budding artists. The college do conduct many events and programs with collaboration with the government bodies too announcing their responsibility to the society.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is rather feasible and can easily be paid by any commoner. The college does give exceptions to those from struggling families. The three year i did costed me less than 65000 rupees and the highest fee structure the college was for the course of hotel management with their 3. 5 lakh rupee fee Structure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The scholarship is available for students coming from backward castes and other minority communities. The scholarship is given as a fixed amount being credited to the bank account once a year and this do help in meeting other requirements needed fo the studies.

Campus Life

5

The institute do take immense care on the extra curricular activities and do help in the growth of budding artists. When it comes to sports the football and basketball is the favorite one to the management as they do everything for both these sports completely neglecting other sports. The institute do conduct many workshops and take good collaboration with other bodies to make sure the workshop is worth the time.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel has a very strict rules ad regulation system. The facilities is really good but you can't opt for single rooms but would need to share. The hostel fee is rather feasible with food and accommodation costing you 4000/month as any pg's would cost you double the amount at the minimum.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is rather growing as the college is just 13 year old. The senior students are rather with a helping mentality with very few ragging issues reported in the past years. The interaction with the alumni is rather much a pleasant experience as they are really excited to hear and know the situation of the college from the current students.

Admission

I had already made up my mind to do my ug in english language and literature since my time in higher secondary level and hence had not thought of taking any course. The admission process was rather simple as we have a centralised government portal in which we will upload our details and mark along with the course and college we would like to join in the portal. The portal process the details and list is prepared on the basis of marklist. The college do have an interview just to make sure that we are apt to be a student if the institution as the management being run by priests had many rules and regulations for the sake of keeping discipline.

Faculty

5

The faculty was very supportive to the students and made us feel the institution to be our second home. They were really highly educated too as the management were really strict on that matter. Many of them were PhD holders with many others pursuing their PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As im a malayalam student i think nothing about the syllabus should be changed because they teach evry aspects of kerala literature and its culture .If you want to learn language malayalam more then you should learn all of the grammar, culture, history, literature and also they are teaching foreign literature and theories which emerged along with the waves in kerala. So i think nothing to be changed in course curriculum.

Remarks:

The college has a unique atmosphere, usually found in prestgious universities of the world. The college student body reacts to every issue around the globe, and thus is famed for being enlightened. Not enough inclusion of modern technology to aid teaching. Faculties tend to be very politically aligned and biased, usually for personal gains.
