Course Curriculum Overview

4

The main part of the curriculum that attracted me was the syllabus of it . It included all the relevant points and subjects . What specially attracted me was the 5 semester syllabus . It prepares us in a very good manner.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly it will be around 67000 fees for the general category. For reservation category it will be like 57000.it is not increasing yearly but decade wise it is increasing. Like my cousin sister graduated in 2009 and she had to pay only less fees comperatively.we have to pay the fees sem wise so in every 6 months it will be 33500 for general category and 28500 for reservation category. The fees can be paid in 3 ways. The first way is you can go to the account section of the college which is infront of the basketball court , there you can pay fees and they will provide reciept and we have to get sign from our head of the department. The second way is to go to bank and pay fees and get receipt. With this receipt should be given to the account section and recieve another receipt in which you has to get sign of the head of the department. It is only possible with south Indian bank. The third way is online payment . Here we need to print the receipt and submit in account section and receive their receipt and get sign of the head of the department.

Campus Life

4

Overall experience was very good . I realty loved it. It was very active college and has very active clubs which literature, sports ,arts club etc.. . It also has a very good infrastructure with greenary. It has a animal shelter , bamboo field , church ,garden etc.. .

Hostel Facilities

3

For ug students there will be only dormitory where it will be around 15 people minimum. Hostel facilities are average and hostel food are also average. Once in a week chicken and fish will be provided.

Admission

I only appiled to this college because i knew about the potential of this college. It was on of the best colleges for bachelors in geography in kerala. Besides it has a good infrastructure and full of greenary

Faculty

4

For every 10 students there will be 1 faculty. Faculties are very friendly. We can approach and call them any time and they are very understanding and caring. I liked all of my Faculties like sajeesh sir for his mentorship, sangeeth sir for his friendliness, indu ma'am for her caring mentality , chandreskhar sir for his teaching and helping capacity and our head of the department for his everything . I loked every faculty of mine. In each semester there for each subject there will be 1 internal test and 1 semester exam. 2 or 3 out of 50 students fail but they clear it in supply exam. Course curriculum is every relevant and accurate.

Night Life

3

When it comes to nightlife it wasn't Up to the point. Bous hostel will close by 8 at night and girls hostel by 6 evening. They allowed us to go out only at sunday and only for boys . Girls has to take special permission. There is just 1 bakery and 2 hotels near the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
