Remarks

I tried many other colleges. Most of them are government colleges. But I didn't got placement. Their placements are reserved for backward categories(based on caste and religion!!). Then I came to Yuvakshetra. I was already applied here for the merit seat which will redice my fee. Here I got placement with discount in fee because I have more than 85% mark in plus two. They treated me very well in the admission time.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I'm really interested in maths. That's why I choose B.Sc maths. There is 40 students in my class. I got the best teaching experience from Yuvakshetra. Teachers are well educated and they teach us very well. Teachers are very friendly. They are ready to clear our doubts at any time. College provides all facilities. They conduct exams in every months which helps us to review ourselves.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible from third semester for the campus placements. There are lots of companies. Most of them are from the IT fields. They selects the best two students from each class based on the first semester mark. Mostly, students with more than 75% marks are allowed to participate for campus placements. I plan to go for data science after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Comparing with other private colleges,Yuvakshetra is little bit expensive. But they provide the best facilities in kerala. There are continous campus selection. Many big companies came here for the selection. Which is a very good opportunity for the students. The total fee is 120000. We have to pay this year wise with 40000 for each.

Campus Life

4

This college can give you the best campus experience. There are college day celebrations, annual fest, etc. Mostly this fests conducts in December. Here you can see a big library. You can get any book that you want. You will get a calm and cool experience inside the library. There is no sports related activities in this college. Because there is no ground. But there are lots of other extra curricular activities which are completely related with studying. This college gives complete importance for studying. They are not aware of sports and arts. There is maths club which is run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
