Remarks

The management of the college is good. The admin may seem a bit lethargic but after all its a government institution. Also, the principal is really supportive. The college itself is a prime institution and students get a wonderful opportunity to explore themselves.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is as per the CBCS model and it's outdated. It must be updated to match today's standards. The General Elective that we get to choose is really limited, we must have more options. Also, the AECC subject is not taken and taught seriously. However, the Exam Structure is good.

Placement Experience

5

Placement Cell of SRCC is the best in the entire DU. It is also the first one to launch their own website which has made the process really simple and smooth for both students as well as recruiters. There was a total of 320+ offers from 100+ recruiters during this session of placement. The highest package was 31 LPA and the average being 6.5 LPA. companies from various fields like Audit, Taxation, Accounting, Consulting, Actuarial, etc. visited the college. The top companies that visited this year were, BCG, Deloitte, Zomato, DE Shaw & Company, KPMG, PwC, JP Morgan, Citibank among others.

College Events

5

There are so many fests in our college that one often has to miss one to attend the other. The college fest 'CROSSROADS' is the best in the entire DU and the celebrities come are the most popular ones. It is also one of those fests which attracts one of the largest crowd in the entire university. Apart from this, the entire February is full of Society fests. Every day is a festival and we enjoy a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is feasible. the mode accepted is online only and it is really easy. there were no additional fees or charges that had to be paid to secure admission in my course. Since it is a government college the fees are affordable. Also, there are many scholarships that are need-based. so, students can avail of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers many scholarships which are merit and merit cum need-based. The eligibility criteria are different for each scholarship. Also, the procedure is really simple and smooth. It really helps the respective students. The average sum is around Rs.12000/ yr

Campus Life

4

The campus life is just amazing. There is so much to explore. There are so many societies covering every aspect. From sports to the quiz to finance to dance to music, you can find everything of your interest. The Gender Ratio is 50:50. Probably one of those colleges where girls outnumber boys. Student diversity is another wonderful aspect of SRCC, as we have students from the south, east, west and of course north India. The tolerance regarding gender, ethnicity, race religion, sexual orientation is just amazing. Everyone respects each other's views and beliefs. We all are one happy family and support each other in every way that we can.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are amazing. They are in true sense the support system freshers could ask for. They help in our networking, college queries and everything about college life. Also, the alumni network is really strong. I've interacted with many and each of them has a different inspiring story to tell. they motivate and aspire us to become better and better.

Admission

I couldn't get into SRCC in first cut off. but in the second one, I got selected and it was really wonderful. I could not believe that I got admission in the top Commerce college of India. The admission process was a smooth one. There was no confusion and delay. I opted for this course as it matched what I wanted to do in the future.

Faculty

4.5

Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but young teachers lack the experience of teaching college students. they are not engaging and often students are able to influence them. The Economics department needs a bunch of experienced teachers. The Commerce Department has the best faculty as many of them have written curriculum books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
