Remarks

Placement is really poor. They really need to improve on that. Otherwise the college is good. And dean can be a little helpful to students. Nobody even wants to talk to her because she is always rude with students. All she cares about is Attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is quite outdated and haven't been updated for a while. We don't require most of the subjects they teach us in real life. Everything was chill. Labs weren't even serious. We just had to go there for the attendance

Placement Experience

1

Placements here are really poor. I am in my final year and only 6-7 students have been placed by college on campus placements from the whole batch. Only 3-4 companies have visited so far excluding tcs which is the mass recruiter here. Our college cannot invite companies because we do not have working labs and internet connection to conduct tests. And forget about internships we have to find it on our own.

College Events

3

Our Main Fest is Anugoonj, It is a 3 day fest in which a lot of people come from other colleges of IP and its really crowded. On the first two days, the only good part is DJ. And on 3 rd day they invite some singer. This year its going to be Benny Dayal. We also have a technical fest called Infoxpression and some small events like Diwali Fest which are organized by other schools.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible here, Its around 3. 5 lakhs for 4 years excluding hostel fees. Although the fee increases every year we paid around 70000 each year and now it must have increased a bit. For hostel the fees is around 60000 for each year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

I don't know about any scolarship offered by my college and none of my friends have taken any. But I think there is a scholarship for students of Defence category. There's an Indian bank branch within the campus which can help with the loan i guess.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio is a bit bad here. There are around 20 girls for 160 boys in the Engineering department. There are many cultural societies like Dance, Music, Acting. Technical societies are only active at the time of events. We have some African, Tibetian and Nepali students in our university.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

All the hostel rooms are private single rooms. Hostels are quite comfortable. Food is also okay. There are around 600 hostel rooms which are really less than the required number. There are no good PGs around that I know of. For hostel the fees is around 60000 for each year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and senior students are really helpful. I constantly took advice from my seniors all over my course and they always help us in the skills they have. They also help us in the exams by sharing their experiences.

Admission

Earlier there was a seperate entrance exam for Colleges of IO University. i got a good rank in it, so I directly took admission in it as it had some good reviews. I did not have too many other options. I won't recommend anyone this college if they have other options.

Faculty

3

Some of the teachers are really experienced but they don't really care about teaching as being a government Employee, they will always be paid. Their teachings methods are too old and the classes are non interactive. We just listen and they just speak.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good for a college like DTU, situated at close proximity to industry hubs like Noida and Gurgaon, Last Season the college placed about 70% of its students with an average of 14 lakhs. and highest of 82.5 lakhs. students from 5th semesters are eligible for Training and placement, with fifth semester getting placed for internships, while 7th semester kids, are eligible to sit for the FTE roles and etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but not best during 2022 to 2024 current year ,I don't know properly but my seniors said that it is due to recession and also it affects IIT BOMBAY. If Recession will go then it has also good placement opportunities if you are skilled. Because DTU provide all branches in tech company if you are skilled in coding. Approx 100+ companies had came in past years .

Remarks:

I choose computer Science because of my interest in the same. The amount of knowledge dissipated to u is the best thing and also having 2-3 practice lab periods really help you make ready for industry. The college can offer internships to their students which would be of great help. There are no. Of opportunities in terms of events technical and non technical that take place.

Remarks:

The only downside of my college is that the hostels doesn't have enough capacity so only 25% are able to get hostels, others have to live in flat/pgs or commute daily and its located in Rohini so most people have to travel a lot to come to the university. There's nothing good around the campus to go to, nearest attraction is nsp or south campus.
