Review of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering

The college has a good infrastructure than any other college with friendly campus and good environment, which help for studying. The college has good libraries and lab facilities for helping the students to study well and have a better future. The campus has better-supporting staff members for helping the students. The most amazing thing of the college is Infrastructure. The beauty of the college is amazing. College provides all facilities to the students for showing their talents to the world. The labs in the college have good quality. The canteen food is very neat and tidy. The hostel rooms are good and it is a good atmosphere for studying.

There are 10 different engineering courses in the college. All the courses are good and any course can be selected depending upon your entrance exam marks and based on the interest of the student. The labs provided are of good infrastructure and the instructors are good at their respective subjects. Practicing in labs helps each student to gain more knowledge from practical work than from reading books. The labs have good quality equipments to train students.

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering is one of the few colleges across the state accredited by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The vibrant placement cell of the college empowers students in getting selected to various companies including multinationals through Aptitude Training programmes, group discussions and mock interviews. Technical as well as HR interviews are conducted on a regular basis with the active cooperation of all departments. The placement cell is also equipped with interview cubicles. Many students have been placed from this college.

Technical and cultural fests are conducted in the college every year. The fests are really attractive and a lot of students participate in the fests. The are a lot of sport events that take place at the college like the inter college basketball tournament like Arena. The cultural fest is Azure which is a very interesting fest where almost every students participate in a large variety of programmes.

The fee structure is same as that of other private engineering institutions. It is affordable and not too expensive. The fees is INR 3. 62 lakhs across 4 years of the B. Tech course. The fees is paid semester wise as directed by the college.

There are many extracaricular actives in which the desired students can take part. Different types of sports including football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis etc can be practised by the students. There is a good gym in the college compound for students. Other extracaricular activities like elocution, essay writing, poetry wirting, photography contest etc are encouraged by the college.

The alumni network is really helpful for students who are currently pursuing the B. Tech course. The interactive sessions alumni students or seniors give an idea of the industrial demands from students. This helps the current students to take part in necessary internships and other online courses which are in demanded by industries.

The college is a very famous college for engineering degree. A lot of students have studied here and reached good positions in job. The college has very good academic results. It is one of the top non-government colleges in kerala. About 3000 students study here. It is the first engineering college in Kerala accredited with A grade by NAAC under UGC, Government of India and National Board of Accreditation for prime departments. Admission into the college can be obtained by securing good marks in Kerala entrance examination or through management quota or by selecting NRI seats.
