Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is a little older subject taught may seem a little older but there are also electives related to modern-day technologies, Where you have the option to choose the right one for your interest. There are 2 sectional exams and a semester exam per semester.2 labs courses per semester related to previous semester papers. If you are good with studies you can opt for an honors course where you can study extra courses, it will be MTech papers and you can sit with MTech students and learn, that's a great opportunity.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college is good with placements lots of companies come every year and more than 60 percent of qualified students usually get placed. But mostly they are IT jobs. Job offers from other departments are few but they are good on the platform. Companies like Tata MRF cognizant infy and many more startup companies come every year.

College Events

5

Our college is known for the technical and cultural events TAKSHAK AND SANSKRITI. Both are held at two-semester of every year it will be a 2 or 3-day event. For the students, it's a day of hard work and joyful days. Most of the national and state festivals are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it's a government-aided college you will get a few waved from govt you only need to pay Rs8000 per year While in self-financing colleges you have to pay 1lakh. You will also. For the odd semester, you have to pay 5000 and in even semesters you have to pay 3000. If you have reservations or if you belong to low-income families you may get a scholarship from the Central government.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is not offering any scholarships but you can get scholarships offered by the central or state government. You wouldn't really need any loans to study in this college. If you can become the topper of class you will get a cash price from the department.

Campus Life

5

There are lots of workshops held as a part of technical fest and by communities like IEEE. Students outside the colleges can also participate. In the case of sport M A college of engineering is known for its football and cricket teams we often secure prices in-universe level and state-level competition. There are sports days where students can show their skills. There are lots of clubs and all are active. College is also known for its student society like IEEE MACE SB. There is no discrimination regarding caste gender race. And there is no ragging or any kind of strike in our college it's strictly forbidden.

Hostel Facilities

4

For freshers, they have to find hostels outside the campus. From the second year onwards you can avail campus hostel facility with 3 hostels for 3 different year students and one additional hostel. For 2nd year students, you will get a brand new hostel with good facilities. For prefinal years you will get old hostels rooms 4 students per room. In the final year, you will get an old hostel with 1 student per room. You will have WiFi and water facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college is backed by strong alumni support. Most of the placement and funding are from the alumni's help. We even have a separate building for the alumni center. Healthy relationships with the senior, they are always helpful when it comes to tech-fest or other cultural fests. You can get their advice regarding your project's electives or when it comes to placements etc.

Admission

I got admitted through the KEAM entrance exam, An entrance exam for joining any engineering college in Kerala. And I scored good marks on the exam. And I heard about this college through my relatives and friends they told me it's a good college with a good placement history and closer to my home. I gave MA college my first preference and I got admission. The students who got admission had a short interview with the principal of college after we got admission to college.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculty in the department are good and they are the best in doing their job, all MTech qualified some have Ph.D. Portions are covered in time and you can expect quality teaching from this college. Some staffs are lazy and inadequate for the job but they are few. Overall I got a good learning experience from this college.
