Engineering Institute for Junior Executives

The college is very good if you want to study. Not much pressure is there in this college and the teachers are very supportive and well experienced. Here you can study engineering and other things too like communication, teamwork, time management etc.

Course curriculum was decent. Regular classes was taken by very good teachers. As this is an engineering course so there was a lot of exams taken. Twice in a year a semester exam was taken. Within the semester internal exams was taken of every subject twice. So it was 6 exams with in a year. 2 semester and 4 internal all this was written exams and passing these was mandatory. And other than these some practical exams, internal and external vivas was also part of the course.

Yes there are placements and job opportunities. After completing the course you can get a decent job if you remain serious during the course. Many can get jobs even before completing the course. But there are no internship provided by the college but if you can manage to get an internship by yourself then the college will support you well.

There are many events celebrated in the college every year like (1) Freshers welcome, (2) Biswakarma puja, (3) Saraswati puja, (4) Independence day, (5) College establishment day, (6) Social program, (7) Sports day and many more.

Because this is a government college the fee of the college is very feasible. Its 1500Rs at the time of admission and 300Rs every semester which means 600 every year. So it will cost maximum 6000-7000Rs for the course if you get the chance.

The fee structure of the college is very low and affordable. And Engineering Institute for Junior Executives is a West Bengal government college so there is no scholarship provided by the college. Though there are some schemes like minority scholarship, obc scholarship etc. which are provided by the government of WB which you can get.

In this college students plays many sports like cricket, football seasonally. In the backyard of the college there is a volleyball court where we played volleyball daily. There are so many labs as many courses are provided there and the labs are well maintained by the teachers. Every equipment are available but the number of these seemed low because so many students gets the admission there.

Senior students are really very very helpful. There is no ragging done by the seniors and the provide very good support to other students. There is very good bonding between every students of every branch. Every year this college organizes a reunion of the ex-students in the college to share the experience the have.

To get adimission in this College I had to crack the entrance exam in West Bengal which is JEXPO. I give JEXPO 2015 and was able to get a rank 1933. After the declaration of the rank they gave a date for counselling, for counselling I had to prioritize my course preference and preferred college. I selected diploma in mechanical engineering in Engineering Institute for Junior Executives college in the top and some other courses and colleges below. When the result of the counselling was declared after few days I was informed that I got a chance to get the admission for the course in this college. As this is a government college the admission fees are really low. The gave me a date to bring all my documents with me and my admission was done.

I was blessed to get a faculty like this. All the teachers were well qualified and experienced in their field. They all have in depth knowledge about the subjects and the teaching quality of them was so good. Other than that they helped us in every step in the college. In many events, job interviews etc.
