You have to crack the entrance exam in West Bengal which is Jexpo to get admission to this college. You have to rank under 13000 to get into this college. After this they gave a date for counselling, I have selected a Diploma in metallurgy in Engineering institute for junior executives. After the result of the counselling was declared I was informed that I got a chance to get admission for the course in this college. They gave me a date to bring all my origin and xerox documents with me for verification.
Scoring a good score in the Jexpo exam or in the Voclet exam will lead to the chance to get to this college because it is a govt college and limited sit are here so competition is high. Only one requirement is whatever is your last qualification 10th or 12th you have to score there a minimum of 45% in science. No age limit is here. If you do proper counseling you will get a chance obviously. Overall the process of admission is simple.
To get this college you have to score in Jexpo exam for 3 years Diploma program and voclet exam for 2 years Diploma after ITI and as per your last qualification you have to score minimum 45% in science. I have applied few more colleges but i choose it and Metaluurgy department becuase of its placement history and reputation also Howrah is better option for me than going to other areas. Over all the admission process was smooth but mind it whenever they ask you for physical verification you have to submit indemnity bond and medical fitness certificate with other documents.
