Our college placements is good. Very few students got placed from our college. Students got placed through a campus job. Some companies come to our college. Average 30% students got placed. Students get average 2-4 lakh per annum job. My plan is to get a Job as a Electronics engineer in a well known company , and also I want to carry on my study.

Outstanding Placement in 2020

In this pandemic situation, the college provide a huge placement record in 2020. I am listing here - Reshmi Metaliks, Tata Metaliks, Kiswok Industries, SRMB TMT, Bharat Forge Limited, BRGD Iron Pvt Ltd, Patil Industries, L&T, Jindal Steel and Power Limited, VESUVIUS. Every company has offered an average of 15000/month some offers more than that as per the quality of the candidates. I am pursuing B-Tech so I have not taken any offer. But if you get a chance to take admission here don't worry about placement just maintain your 75% attendance and 7.5 CGPA minimum and get practical knowledge as much as you can.

Top Placement in 2020 for Metallurgy and Mechanical students.

I want highlight placement details here - the following companies came for placement: - L&T, JSPL, Vesuvius, Kiswok Industries, SRMB TMT, Bharat Engineering Limited, BRGD Ingot Pvt Ltd, Patil, Reshmi Metaliks, Tata Metaliks (Kharagpur). All this companies offer average 15000/month some offers more than 16000/month. For getting job students must maintain 75% attendance and a 7.5 CGPA minimum. I have not taken any job because I am doing B-tech now on Metallurgy.

EIJE is best for Mechanical and Metallurgy students

Reshmi metals, Tata metals, JSPL, BRGD, TMPL, Kiswok industries limited, Patton India came for placement and offer an average of 13000/per month but the first two companies offer 15000/month as per student caliber. For getting a job in the placement you have to maintain 75% attendance and a 7.5 CGPA minimum. 26 Students out of 30 are placed remaining four are girls so as per the criteria of the companies they don't secure the position. I have an offer but I am doing B-Tech so I refuse that.

One Word "Best College for Metallurgy"

Rashmi Metaliks, Kharagpur Metaliks(Tata Metaliks), JSPL, BRGD, TMPL, Kiswok Industries Ltd, and some other companies came for placement drive and they offer 11000-16000/month stipend as a DET. I had not taken this offer because I am doing B-Tech now on Metallurgy.

Yes there are placements and job opportunities. After completing the course you can get a decent job if you remain serious during the course. Many can get jobs even before completing the course. But there are no internship provided by the college but if you can manage to get an internship by yourself then the college will support you well.

Best college

Many MNC companies do their campus placement from EIJE, Howrah. Companies like L&T, Vesuvius India, JSPL hire fresh engineers from this college. Apart from these MNC's, some West Bengal based engineering firms like Kiswoad, Vikrant Forge, Datre Corporation also offer campus selection.

If you are in top 10 to 15 in your branch h you can easily crack job interviews.They provides us pvt. Sectors job through consultancy. 45-50% students get jobs in every year. They are trying to expand this percentage through various way. Student can find job of 12-14k salalies job easily.
