JIS School of polytechnic is one of the best polytechnic college in West Bengal.
The facilities of this college is so friendly. They are very helpful if there is any problem, be it from my own department or from other department.

Dislikes

And the canteen of our college campus has been closed for a long time. It would have benefited many boys if it was introduced

Admission:

You can get admission through direct management or also by an entrance examination called JEXPO. You can easily rank in examination to get admission in this college. If you are from West Bengal then it is very easy for you to get an admission after 10th. Or after 12 science you can get voclet entry.

The main thing I like is that the college sir and teachers are very friendly. Along with their academic classes, they do many non-academic activities that are essential for students.
Our workshop which is mechanical, we have many machines which may not be in diploma level in many colleges. We have done a lot of industrial work and know how to operate machines.

Dislikes

It was found that having many students in a branch meant that those who had no interest could not learn anything. has fallen behind.
And sometimes many classes are off for non-academic activities

Admission:

You need to passout your 10th examination with a good percentage. Your course duration is 3 years. Also you can take addmission after 12th with Science. Then the course duration is 2 years. This is called voclet addmission. You can get addmission through official website of JIS School Of Polytechnic. Or an entrance exam called JELET in west bengal. There are two semester in a year. You can easily get good marks with the basic knowledge of your syllabus.

Admission:

You can take admission through a government exam organized by the government or take admission at the JIS school of Polytechnic. All government scholarships and all reservations are available here at JIS School of the Polytechnic.

I take admission through direct college. Based on class XII. Passed 10th standard from any recognized Board/Institute with at least 35% marks in Aggregate Subject to providing of original mark sheet/pass certificate at the time of admission.
