- One last time college participates in a national wise technical fest with the civil engineering department and wins first prize for making a water treatment plant.
- Here faculty is very good it is helpful to students, and they were ready to help whenever it is required 8:5.
- Qualification of the faculty is excellent, the best teacher is available in this college with high qualification and teaching method is quite good with both english, bengali and hindi language.
Dislikes
- Some times it has been observed that classes are held from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm which makes many students tired.
- Moreover, after we had done one time, the examination time was very close, there was a gap of three months between two semester, we had some problems to give the exam in that time.
- It was found that having many students in a branch meant that those who had no interest could not learn anything. has fallen behind.

- The facilities of this college is so friendly. They are very helpful if there is any problem, be it from my own department or from other department.

- And the canteen of our college campus has been closed for a long time. It would have benefited many boys if it was introduced
Placement Experience:
You can get placement from 2nd year. The placement process is is likes simple you have to attend and exam nation then if you will pass the exam you have to do an interview. From my branch mechanical engineering there are many MNC companies you will get like Tata Cummins, Tata Autocomp, ALSTOM, Electro Casting Limited, SKH etc. In mechanical engineering there is 80% student get placed and the remaining 20% are also go for higher study

- The main thing I like is that the college sir and teachers are very friendly. Along with their academic classes, they do many non-academic activities that are essential for students.
- Our workshop which is mechanical, we have many machines which may not be in diploma level in many colleges. We have done a lot of industrial work and know how to operate machines.
- Our college takes us on many industrial visits every year which is very important for an engineer to know how an industry runs.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the branch as you know mechanical engineering is a mother branch of engineering. And I choose this college because it was the top polytechnic college in West Bengal. And I was very interested in how machine learning, how the machine works. And they teach how a machine actually runs in industry. What I can suggest is that there are some areas that need improvement, For example, some machines in our workshop are broken, so it is better to fix them. And the diploma level exam is not that tough, a little better if the academic exam means to complete the syllabus then you can pass with good marks. But we have the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, many times they have been seen to have done the exam first after Corona, like we have an exam with a gap of three months in our time, so there were some difficulties at that time

Placement Experience:
In JIS School of Polytechnic here from the second year or fourth semester, many types of internships are provided in this college and also from 3rd year, You will get placement. In JIS School of Polytechnic, placement percentage is average.

From the 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Our college placement facilities are really good. Many of companies like JBM, SIGMA, JAIHIND, SAKURA, and DHOOT TRANSMISSION visit and give some successful placements. Average percentage need of students to get placement. I want to study higher and then get a government job. That is my plan after getting the degree.

Placement Experience:
Placements are offered in our college and many types of companies come here to recruit their staff. Among them, there are big companies of our country on this list. Namely Tata Steel, HCL, Blue star, Ashok Leyland etc.
