Ramjas college

Positives - It is a north campus college. Our zoology department is best among others. Our college is best in NSS among others. Negatives- There are other bettrr colleges also like Miranda and hindu college which have better infrastructure.

Course is zoology which deals with Study of animals basically.The core subjects are chordates, non chordates, biochemistry,cell biology,physiology, genetics, molecular biology, developmental biology and evolution.

Placement and jobs oppurtunities are more for commerce and arts student as compared to science students.There is a placement cell of Ramjas.Internships are good for us.There are funded by department.

There are many events celebrated which includes - college freshers, annual college meet, farewell of 3rd year students.And the best part is college fest which lasts 2-3 days.Department fest are also organized.

Fee structure of my 3rd year is 13,900.I think it is feasible as it comes under central govt.Also it very less as compared to other private institutions like amity which charges in lakhs for the same course.

Scholarships are offered to students who have topped in their respective states.Also one scholarship is for students who have good grades and their parents are not in the government job.And many scholarship for minority students.

There are many extracurricular activities.Sports includes athletics, basketball, cricket.Other activities are dancing, singing.There are many socities including dance society, and fashion society of ramjas college.

I dont know about it but there are many successful alumni of our college like manoj bajpae, papon, parvesh rana, sarup singh,prakash jha, nivedita tiwari, rajkumar gupta, shekhar suman, vikas bahl and many others

Admission process is based on 12th percentage.6-7 cutoffs are released with percentages and if any student having the same or above percentage are eligible for admission.You just have to carry the following documents - 12th marksheet, 10th marksheet, aadhar card, character certificate.

The faculty of college is good.There are excellent professors.We have associate professors, assistant professors.They teach so good and thoroughly.There are good labs and zoology department is good compared to other colleges.
