Saying about faculties our faculties where the best among any other near by colleges. They were not any teachers for us but also mentors to our life. They kept us close towards them and nurtured our talents and they keep helping us in every point in our college life as well as in our academics

Infosys came, TCS came even Microsoft came but from mechanical field there wasn't any internship held in our college. so for me there was no experience We visited HMT and cifnet cochin

TCS and Infosys came and bagged several studentsmall from our college. They offered a package of rs 25k per month to the selected candidatesLots of other companies came Wipro, sutherland, etc came and about 200 people from our batchat got placed in there respective companies with good salary package

Telling about college festivals We last year held the biggest technical fest ever held by a college in our district and near by places Overall 30 lakes has been spend for the fest and lumio square was one among the top projects we did It was in news allover kerala because we created an atmosphere nere to zero degree which that of Antarctica and made snow inside the square

Fee Structure And Facilities

Mess is I shut say is an average only Mess fee is affordable but the food is only good during Wednesday Becausevening we get chicken Biriyani that day We have to pay a sum of rupees 3000 per month towards the fees in hostel College rooms were good. Toilet facilities, cleanliness, drinking water everything was good 2 people run the mess and we got good food from college mess not from the hostel mess College canteen is a huge one and we appreciate the efforts of management for coming forward to fulfill the needs of students who crave for good food

Fees and Financial Aid

I got mcm scholarship and I took a bank loan from syndicate bank and they helped me get my education done without any trouble

Campus Life

Campus life was one of the best I got from this place It was a heaven Politics were there both healthy and physical People from every race every religion have equal priorities in this college College even helped poor ones to study without taking any tuition fees

Alumni network is so far average but they are planning to start and alumni network and a building for alumni get together and all Hope they will start it soon

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

This college was not my first preferrence. I had first chosen college of engineering, palakkad at civil branch. But I had to change my plan as I had heard about the boom of Cybersecurity and my interest towards technology.
